I use Windows Live email via Virgin Media. I have tried to set up a Windows Live ID but keep getting a message that says there is a temporary fault. When I go into Windows Live Mail now I get a screen asking for my Windows Live email address and password but end up in a loop going nowhere. I can use the Windows Live email ok apart from the fact that my Contacts have disappeared. I want to get rid of the screen that asks for my email address and password as I did not have to do this before I tried to set up the Live ID. Help!
My email was hacked and spam sent to all of my contacts (only 4 spam emails were in my sent folder).  I've changed the hotmail password and am in the process of changing my other passwords as a precaution.  During the process about 40 minutes ago I noticed that I received three delivery status notification delays.  I think the spam emails are still trying to be delivered but I'm not 100% sure.  If I'm right, is there anyway to stop them and prevent others from being sent?
Dear Microsoft Support,

As of a few days ago, I have lost access to my Hotmail account, [Removed by Moderator], due to it being blocked.  Even though there are 2 alternate email addresses linked to my Hotmail account, only one, [Removed by Moderator], an account which no longer exists, is an option to which the code can be sent.  At this point, how may I go about recovering this account?

I have been able to reset my password since then, as I was given the option to send the message in which I could do so to [Removed by Moderator] or [Removed by Moderator] (which is still existing), and I did so of course via the latter address.  Doing so, however, had no effect on recovering the blocked account.

Both addresses are of course tied to my Hotmail account.   Do you know what I may be able to do in order to get the code sent to [Removed by Moderator], and get this problem fixed?

Any help that can be given to help me recover my account [Removed by Moderator] would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

What do you need to do?

We'll walk you through a few steps to verify that you own the account, then have you change your password in case someone else has been accessing your account. It should only take a few minutes and then you'll be unblocked and on your way.
