I have been using Ourlook.com since the transition from MSN Hotmail.  I also subscribe to MSN Premium Internet Service and pay the monthly subscription cost.  I want to drop MSN Premium Internet Service to eliminate the monthly cost but I am not sure how this decision will impact my continued access to Outlook and whether or not I can use my current email address (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***).  I set up a second alias but want to keep my current email address.

Also, do I have to move my contact list and email folders before dropping MSN Premium Internet service?  If so, how do I accomplish this?

I tried contacting member support at Outlook.com but got an automated reply that stated that site address was not monitored?

Thanks,

Bill Vreeland

After successfully having been able to access my MSN Hotmail account for many years going back to 2006,  I find myself now in the uncomfortable situation of being unable to access any of  the contents of my Hotmail box.  I have a new Outlook.com mailbox which was empty, swept clean as it was put.  I do have a Microsoft billing account and an account number associated with it.  However, it seems the only way to access this account is by password.  Until 9/2/13,  I was able to sign in to my Hotmail box and would have been able to enter my Microsoft account.  On 9/5/13, however, when I clicked on the Outlook.com link on my MSN homepage, instead of going directly to the sign-in page, I was sent to a page requiring that I change my password.  After changing my password and  then signing in with the new password, I received the message that my password was "invalid".  On 9/22/13, if I remember correctly, I was signing into Outlook.com instead of Hotmail.com.  I've been without access to my Hotmail box for nearly a month now after many online searches and phone calls and reassurances  from Outlook that there would be no changes to mail service.

I would like to keep the Microsoft Windows Hotmail Plus account active by whatever name MSN chooses for it.  I do need to have a way to recover my last working Hotmail password or to create a new password. I really do need to read and respond to mail that is time-sensitive.  Is there anyone who can provide a direct way to sign-in to my Hotmail box?  If so, please contact me at *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.  I will be most grateful!

I never deleted my first email from Hotmail Staff, Welcome to MSN Hotmail. It still shows up on outlook.com but the body is missing. When I first installed Windows Live Mail 2012, it initially appeared in the list but after downloading all the emails it subsequently disappeared. Why? And how to get it back?
