Hi,

Any ideas on the following appreciated

I have followed this link http://support.sherweb.com/Faqs/Show/how-to-export-a-backup-file-from-outlook-2011-for-mac-exchange-2010

to export all live email to an archive file with the option of not deleting any information. I then import the file back into outlook.

Therefore I have a Live Exchange Mailbox and also an Archive folder. The ideal is that I empty the archive out and then the uses can create new folders under here and move live emails as and when. My issues is when I import the file back in and delete everything from the folder and deleted items the file is still staying at 9 GB

Any ideas on hiow I can reduce this size

After Mountain Lion Update: Very annoying problem with the email editor.

After Mountain Lion Update: I have a very annoying problem with the email editor in Outlook 2011: I start to write and after some characters, the the editor lost the focus and I have to click again into the editor, over and over again. Sometimes I have to retype whole sentences! Is this a known issue or should I try to install Outlook again?

Problems with Office for Mac on a New Hard Drive on my iMac

My iMac had a Hard Drive failure but was able to be backed up before the HD was replaced by Apple. The new HD had a complete restore done with every thing back on the new HD. When I went to open Office 2010/11 ( Outlook ) it asked me for the key to activate Office. I put in the key that came with the software disk but it says that it is the wrong key. What is going on??

I have a new MacBook and have outlook 2011.

When I try to access emails stored on my remote central data base they are shown as .msg when I attach any of these files to my emails door sending it still shows as a .msg

These files have been saved onto this remote data base using the outlook 2010 format and only seems to be an issue with the Mac 2011 office.

Does any body know if there is a setting in outlook 2011 I need to go to? Sending emails with .msg is not an option for my clients as they are unreadable.

autocomplete is not working in outlook for mac 2011

HI thanks but what i mean is auto complete not auto correct.

this is the feature which gives us option to choose the email address out of the available ones by the same name after entering just first few characters of the person's name or email id in To, CC or BCC. any suggestions how i can get this feature to work or reset, it was working fine when i was using outlook on my pervious mac book but after migrating all the data through time capsule to new one with retina, its not working

I cannot write an email. When I try to open a window to write an email, Outlook says that it encountered a problem and needs to close.

When I try to write an email, Outlook quits and says that it encountered a problem and needs to close. I can still receive email, reply and forward it, but cannot write an email.

Calendar requests very slow to action

Hi,

I am running Outlook 2011 on my Mac and connecting to an exchnage serve in the US.

for some reason every time I get a calendar request, or simply access my calendar locally I get the spinning wheel of death for anything up to 5 minutes.

Eventually, if I'm patient, the meeting reesyed comes up, then once I press accept the wheel comes back for 1-3 minutes.

I have turned of all sync services between ical and outlook, but it still keeps happening.

I have rebuilt my identity multiple times, no change.

also the finder shows hundreds of OLK14_messages and notes

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all,

I'm looking for any assistance with this problem i'm having. Recently i purchased a Mac and am using Outlook and it has been working perfectly until yesterday when i received the following error message:

nskntcmgw08p BigPond Outbound [OB105. Connection refused. 121.212.3.200 is listed on the Exploits Block List (XBL). Please visit http://www.spamhaus.org/xbl/ for more information.

As I have always used Windows and have always had an Internet Security software program on my computer I am at a loss as to what this issue is and I don't know anything about this 'spamhaus' website.

Can anyone please assist? Any feedback would be very much appreciated :)

I am looking under
Tools > account > advanced > server
I have checked through out the program but cannot locate.
I have googled and seen images of the server tab that has it, but my server tab options are different.
can images be posted?
