TIA
Need to delete a calendar subfolder but can not find out how to do this. If I right click, there is no response.
I have recently installed office 2011 for mac on my macbook pro.. In outlook under "On my computer" I have my pst file for my last years emails.
I'm also running VM Ware Fusion in which I have office 2010 installed and I'm also mapped to the same .pst folder.
If I move items from my mac's inbox to that pst file they show up in the mac outlook but they do not show up on my vm outlook.
This seems like it should be straight forward if both outlooks are pointing to the same .pst file they should see the same info. Has anyone dealt with this before?
Using Applescript I can get the user name in Outlook 2011, but it will only display the text that comes after a backslash if present in the user name field.
With this Applescript I can get the user name from Outlook:
tell application "Microsoft Outlook"
get the user name of exchange account 1
end tell
result--> username
But in the Outlook Account it reads:
ADDOMAIN\username
If I use Applescript to enter a user name it just appends the user name to the ADDOMAIN\ text
tell application "Microsoft Outlook"
set the user name of exchange account 1 to "username2"
end tell
In Outlook account settings will result in:
ADDOMAIN\username2
Is there any way to clear this invisible text using Applescript? I need to deploy this to 1000+ users so using Applescript is the preferred method vs. going to each user's computer individually.

Every time I hit the enter button while composing a task in Outlook for Mac, it creates an error and sends info to Microsoft and restarts Outlook! Any work around or suggestions? I am using Lion on a MAC BOOK PRO only 6 months old.
Since I upgraded to Mountain Lion the sync between Outlook and iCal (and contacts) is dead. Lots of applications are dependent upon this sync. Most of all, the sync with iPhone and iPad.
I am a business user. Outlook is the best Email/Contact/Calendar program out there. I need to use Outlook and MS Office. I am not going to stop using them but I would like to see what/if Microsoft is going to do to support this. This is a huge hole!
There is a post that MS Office is ready for Mountain Lion, that is just plainly not true.
Has anyone else been able to get around this problem? Any ideas? Third Party apps to sync?
Thanks.
I cant export contacts to a vcard format.

I'd like to send files without having them automatically zipped and or compressed. Many people I send files to have iPhones or iPads and are unable to open these files until they are sitting in front of a desktop which is not efficient when something needs
to be reviewed on the spot. I have checked on line and searched the help bar in Outlook, only to find no preference setting to do so. Is this option even available? PLEASE HELP!?!?
