In Outlook, I could send an email with the "from" line with either my main address or a subfolder address.   Windows Live seems to give me only the option of using the "from" line with my main address name on it.  I use the subfolder address for my small business.  It has one of those dedicated names like *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.  Can this be changed?  I want to send email to and from my subfolder address.
I have windows 8.1 and outlook. In outlook, I can create a subfolder, but can't figure out how to instruct outlook to move old and new emails from a specific domain to the subfolder instead of the main inbox folder
I am using Microsoft Outlook 2007 on my PC. I have a personal domain and email address "*** Email address is removed for privacy ***". The Outlook is configured such that it downloads all emails from the mail server to my PC Outlook. I have several subfolder in my InBox. I usually keep emails from different persons/company according to their subfolder. I had this 1 quite large subfolder with several hundred emails. Suddenly yesterday the subfolder is no longer present. I searched everywhere and none of the emails were found in the outlook other folders, delete folders, archive etc.

The emails were also deleted from my mail server(website) periodically. Now how can I get the emails back ?

Thanks
Yousuf

I have about 100 folders, every now and then I must hit a wrong key and I notice that the immediate folder underneath the folder I am working from becomes an indented subfolder of the one above it.

How do I un-indent that new subfolder back to just a regular folder in ABC order like all the rest?

When transferring mails from INBOX to Subfolder "Guenters" , the effect is, as if I would have clicked "DELETE".
The mail disappears from INBOX, and the Subfolder remains EMPTY .
I have been using Outlook for many years. At the present time, I have over 40,000 emails stored in Outlook (about 20 GB).
These emails are stored in subfolders and sub-subfolders of Outlook PST.

As emails come in, I either delete them or if they are important and are part of one of jobs, which have a folder or sub folder, I move them from Inbox to a subfolder or sub-subfolder or even a sub-sub-subfolder of Outlook PST.

I have been afraid to archive these emails because of my fear that when I need to restore and find old emails on one of the more than 200 subjects, I will not be able to restore the emails back to the same subfolders and sub-subfolders.

Is there some way to archive, where the emails will be archived in the sub or sub subfolder they are presently stored in?
Sorry, for all the details above:
- since this morning, I can sign in to Hotmail and can open my hotmail inbox BUT
I can't
- open any individual e-mail in my inbox
- use any of the top toolbar commands, including 'select all', 'mark as', 'move to', etc
- open any of my subfolders on the left, including 'sent', etc

How can I resolve this?

Also, does everybody need to upgrade to Outlook?  I haven't yet and would rather keep the hotmail as is

Thanks for any quick help

Can only see "Inbox" and "Deleted". No sub folders I created in Hotmail on my computer are viewable on my Ipad

Need to delete a calendar subfolder but can not find out how to do this.  If I right click, there is no response.
TIA
