Hi..

My customer uses 2 accounts through Outlook.com

On one account the Auto Complete works fine. She can start typing a contacts name and it will auto complete.

But on another account (using the same browser) it does not auto complete.

I have gone into the settings and enabled Auto Complete in Outlook.com (i checked the settings of both accounts and they are both set the same in regards to auto complete)

I have turned on Auto Complete  in Internet Explorer's settings and Auto Complete works fine on all other sites etc.

She is running Windows 8 (which im about to downgrade to Win7 if i cant fix this issue)

Any ideas ??

Thanks, Adam..

New MacbookPro install and loving the office 2011 products.

Problem i am running into is my autocomplete "display screen".
It displays above the "new email" screen and can't see what is being looked up in auto complete.
(see screen shots).

I have tried moving from desktop to desktop.
Tried full screen and min/max screen and it always sticks off screen.
Reboot and Kill app and still same result.

Any suggestions?
Internet Explorer will not save auto complete user name and password. I keep checking it and the next time I open IE 10 it's unchecked. I had my computer guru out here last week and he couldn't figure it out either. He is an IT person and knows what he is doing but he was stumped. He tried even setting IE back to the default and then tried removing and downloading it again. Nothing worked what do you suggest?

Thanks!
I have a user that I'm moving to a new machine.  There are no entries in their contacts or Outlook address book.  However the auto complete function completes address in a new mail form.  Where is this data held and how can I access it so I can move it to the new machine?

I allowed another to use my computer  to log on to outlook. Their email address shows up as a suggestion to log in. How do I delete this?

On Outlook 2011 For Mac on creating an email, as normal, the Autofill/ Auto complete for To: or CC: fields no longer pop down like it used to. They now flicker /flash for a split second. The exact same applies on a website when completing an online form. Seems a virus or something. Lastly I can no longer highlight on Word too with my mouse. I must do it manually (shift arrow)

I am using Mountain lion latest, and outlook 2011 latest.

Any help is really appreciated. Now takes me long time to try and find recipients in my sent folder, I have to copy paste their email address, etc etc. Crazy. Please help? Thank you

i would like to delete a spesific email address in the hotmail (outlook) auto fill due to the wrong typing in the past.

the answer below is helpfule but it disable the auto complete at all. however i want to disable only a speficic wrong email address.

In addition you may also change your auto-complete suggestion setting:

1.  In your Inbox page, click on Options (located right beside the Question Mark icon at the upper right corner of the screen).
2. Select More Options.
3. Under Customizing Hotmail, choose Advanced privacy settings.
4. Under Auto-complete suggestions, choose suggest people in my contact list.
5. Click Save.

ANY ANSWER?

NOTE:  Original title: deleting autofill email address in Hotmail

I use hotmail on a mac using Firefox.  I want to stop auto complete from filling out my login e-Mail address.  How?

Hello ... I know of 4 Windows 7 computers running Windows Live Mail 2011 that all have the same problem. There is no option to turn Auto complete on and off . On 3 of the computers (one of which is mine) when you start to type in the address the Auto complete will bring up the addresses that start with whatever letters you type. On one Auto complete is not working at all. On all 4 when you go to tools/options/mail/send there is No option to check Auto complete on and off. 3 of the computers have been running Live Mail for quit sometime but the one that it is not working on is a brand new computer with a brand new Win7 Pro COA and a new install of Windows Live Mail via Windows Essentials. I found this post from Jan 2012 to be of no help ... http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_other-networking/how-do-i-disable-autocomplete-in-windows-live-mail/8753a3b2-5aad-4069-be5e-77e6d8b9ba4a?msgId=4f8b25ea-bf82-489b-9e23-e903df51fdbc . On 02/06/2012 it was BlownOff/ Answered by Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] . I found nothing about it on the ... All WIndows Live Mail questions belong here: http://windowslivehelp.com/product.aspx?productid=15 page after searching everything I could think of. I am not the only one with this problem. I called 1 800 936 5700 and Microsoft has a fix, but only if I pay them $99.00 will they give it to me. This is a Live Mail problem and no one should have to pay for the fix. The problem has been around for sometime but the Jan 2012 Question was blown off and not answered because it was posted in the wrong place. I will wait and see if the fix comes in response to this question. What happened to the Auto complete option in Windows Live mail ? If the answer can not be found here what answer would I be charged $99.00 for ?   If this question is in the wrong place I would like to know where it is supposed to go as I got here from the Windows Essentials Help page.

The same question from Jan. 2012 was also blown off from here too http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/answers?tId=8753a3b2-5aad-4069-be5e-77e6d8b9ba4a
