I’m trying to import an Outlook 2007 PST file from a PC into a Mac running Office for Mac 2011. The process takes a while and then reports “Outlook has finished importing your data” but all I get are empty folders. None of the emails are imported but the folder structure is correctly imported. The PST file works perfectly within Outlook 2007. The PST file is 5Gb.

Hi,

Since I changed my live.com password in outlook.com, i cannot access emails in windows live, outlook express and outlook 2007.

In Windows Mail and Messenger it keeps on asking for the password.

In outlook 2007 it doesn't connect to the server (neither through outlook connector nor pop/smtp).

I can access the account from the internet in all browsers, but not in email  programs.

I changed the password in my Microsoft account, as it was the only way I could find how to change it for Windows Live.

I changed it in outlook.com again. It still doesn't help.

I also discovered I cannot sign in to Windows Live Messenger as well. Though my SkyDrive (One Drive) connects fine.

Any advice what to do?

I am using Window 7Pro 64 bit, Internet Explorer & Chrome Unable to open a particular group members contact info.  I have to select individual outside of the group members.

Hi

I would like to Import  outlook.nk2 file form outlook 2007 (XP) to Outlook2011 auto complete in MAC 10.9. ( not to contacts).

Please guide me how to import .

regards,

Prassadh

I've imported my pst file from outlook 2007 to Mac Outlook 2011 I have dozens of subfolders, when I import I can see my inbox and deleted items but I can't see any subfolders. I've read the information on importing and exporting ansi and ascii, adn appreciate the old legacy problems, but as this is Outlook 2007 it shouldn't be an issue. Initially I just copied the pst file and imported, so next I exported all mail to pst in Outlook 2007 and then tried the import I get the same result. If I open the export in OUtlook 2007 (windows 7) it opens fine and I see all subfolders.

How do I get all folders visible? As I said I have dozens of subfolders, I don't want to export each folder separately that would literally take days, Whilst I appreciate I could also create an IMAP session and drag and drop to an IMAP folder, this would also take days. What I want is to be able to easily complete this task.

Appreciate this is the community helping, but can't tell you how annoying it is not being able to do this, searches on the internet just bring up sites trying to sell me a PST to mbox convertor so I can drop an mbox into Mac Outlook 2011, if there are dozens of sites selling this, then why doesn't the big M have a free pst to mbox convertor? After buying Office again, I really don't want to buy more software to make my new software work as I expect it should.

Many thanks in advance.

If we send an email from Outlook 2007 via the Hotmail Connector, the sent messages appear for a short time and then eventually disappear.  We have checked all settings regarding saving of emails and prevention of deleting emails from other apps.  None of these settings seem to make a difference.
I linked my outlook.com account to my Outlook 2007 via POP3 and checked the box to leave mail on the server after I delete it from Outlook. The issue is, every two or three days, Outlook.com resends all the mail it had previously sent to my desktop Outlook.

This started happening in the last 10 days or so. Before that, the account had been working well. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thank you.
