Hi,
We have a new Mac machine running the latest mountain Lion.
There are 3 network printers and they all print fine from all applications except one.
On Outloko 2011, we can print fine on 2 printers, but the main printer, will always crash.
Word, Excel and all other software prints fine on all 3 printers, so the main printer, only on Outlook is the exception.
Things done so far:
-Reinstalled the printers
-recreated the Outlook database
-re-added printer by IP and used generic driver
-changed name of printer
-deleted Outlook plist settings (and all steps on http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2409331)
Nothing seems to work. That particular printer simply will not work just on Outlook.
I have created a test profile on the computer and logged on this new test profile. Launched Outlook and did a test print. It worked. Using the new profile is not really an option as a the main profile is heavily used.

I just bought a new Macbook Pro with MountainLion. I just bought the MS Office 2011 for Outlook. I just registered for a new email domain from GoDaddy.
I get nothing but errors including:
* Outlook cannot connect to the server. Verify that your computer is connected to the network.
* An unknown error has occurred in Outlook.
* Sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed recpthosts.
I have tried EVERY combination of POP and IMAP servers that were provided and I am getting nowhere. I exhausted all support at GoDaddy...I exhausted all support at Mac and now I try to get some help from MS.
This is for work and I need it up and running by tomorrow...ugh.
Any insights will be appreciated. (please note: I have tried every recommendation on the first 30 support blogs on the first 30 support sites on the web for this..and still nothing.
Thanks!!
I have upgraded to Outlook 2011 from 2008 on a newer Macbook. The old Macbook Outlook Crashed. The only problem I have is that all of my inbox folders ( I set up about 25 file folders) and not showing up in my new inbox. All on my inbox and sent e
mails are showing up.
I did back up my data on a G drive via Time Macine. I do not know where these folders ( Various E mails I moved to inbox folder I set up, reside. How can I get these folder along with the e mails and attachments to my new Macbook with Outlook 2011 ?
Thanks in advance for your help.
2nd time this has happened since I installed Mountain Lion on my 15" MacBook Air.
When I create tasks in Outlook and click save, the tasks do not appear on my Outlook client. However, the task DOES appear on the server as I can see the task when I login to my webmail account.
I also created a task on the server via my WebMail account and it does not appear on my Outlook client either. Mail and Calendar are working perfectly.
I already tried rebuilding my identity and creating a new identity. Neither fixed the problem.
Appreciate any help. I'm losing faith in you MS.

Outlook 2011 for Mac (french)
Every time I leave and come back to Outlook 2011 some of the messages "marked as read" become "marked as non read".
If I select them and do a click right to select "mark as read" nothing happens... I have to "select all" then click on "mark as non read" and select all again and click "mark as read" to get them "marked as non read" but often when I leave and come back to Outlook 2011 some of the messages "marked as read" become "marked as non read".
It's just terrificlyboring.
Thanks for your help.

I know I can doubleclick on a 30 minute increment in the calendar and a new Appt will open. I also know I can click and drag a time period int he calendar to create an appointment, and then I just enter the topic the appt directly into the calendar screen.
If I use the click and drag method, is there a way to quickly enter the location of the appt too? In my old calendar system I could enter:
Doctor@hospital
Can it would put Doctor in subject and Hospital in the location. Is there a similar type of shortcut for Outlook? Click, drag, enter subject, return, command-o, tab, enter location seems like way too many steps. There's got to be a better way and I'm just
missing it.
Thanks,
Allan
