Here is my issue:

I have two email accounts:

When I send an email from my work email, I will BCC that same email address.

The logic of this is that the email would go into my Inbox and Sent folder.

The email will appear in my Outlook Inbox, and after the account refreshes, it will remove it.

On my iPad, the email stays in the Inbox? This is using the "Mail" app.

There are no rules set what-so-ever with this account.

I'm literally just trying  to BCC myself and keep the email in my Inbox.

Anyone else run into this? Any fixes or workarounds?

Machine Specs:

27" iMac

Office for Mac, all updates installed.

Thanks!

I am using Outlook for mac 2011 in my i Mac( mountain lion) .  Now  when I clicked to open Outlook, it taking  very long time to receive the emails.  Hundreds of mails still pending to receive. Sometimes only one mail be fetched in a day. And the email dates coming in outlook inbox is different with original. I have another Macbook Air and the same email configured  in there also. There is no such problems everything working fine.

Any idea? Please give me solution.

Thnks

I'm now migrating from Entourage 2008 to Outlook for Mac 2011.  I frequently use scripts on Entourage to accomplish the following:

1) Change the name of the sender of a message I've received.  I use this, for example, if the sender of the mail shows their name in a non-Roman alphabet (Chinese, etc) and I want their sender name to appear in my inbox in Roman letters. Or if I know the person by their nickname rather than their formal name.  In both cases I want their sender name in my Outlook inbox to match the name I know them by.

2) Change date and time sent of a received mail.  Occasionally I use this script in Entourage if the clock on the sender's computer is set incorrectly and the message therefore appears in the wrong place in my inbox.

3) Delay sending time.  This script allows me to set the sending date and time of a mail to, say, the end of the week, or even sometime next year.

I've searched everywhere online and haven't found these three scripts for Outlook yet.  Can anyone help me find them?  Or are there other non-script, time-efficient workabout solutions?

Thank you for any advice you can provide!

Mysterious header has materialized, on far left, just above first message.  It says Last Week, and shows me ONLY those messages hat arrived then.  If I click on it, It moves to Two Weeks and the messages shift accordingly.  So, I'm forced to collect all my more recent Emails by going into Verizon website and accessing my account remotely (grrr).

How can I get my inbox back to showing ALL my messages????????

As of 11/08/13 I am unable to open all messages in my outlook inbox.  I am unable to do anything with these messages.  I can not delete, or move them to junk.  They just stay there in bold print.

When I right click on the message there are options.  I can read them if I click on reply.  However, I can not see any attachments if there are any and the message remains as unread.

What can be done to make the inbox operable again?

Outlook InBox says I have X+1 unread messages - I can only see X
My outlook inbox shows I have for example 16 emails.  But in the view pane I only have 6.  Once I clear them out I still show 10, but there isn't 10.
My Outlook inbox notification keeps showing a lot more emails than I actually have.  Example: he count on left side shows i have like 116 but I only have actually 20 to be read.

How do I correct this anyone know?
