I work at a school where we are all running macbook pro's with office 2011 for mac installed on our machines. We have been setup with our own office 365 organizational account where alot of us decide to use the outlook client by office 2011. I have a users computer that is showing multiple events in her calendar, it duplicates events, some events show 10 to 15 times on her calendar. Events such as birthdays, meetings and various appointments. Other users have shared they're calendar with my problem computer, giving me access to they're appointments and events and such, so I don't know if that can help with a solution, but I am seeing these duplicates happen in office 365 calendar, outlook client, iCalendar, and the users iphone. The duplicate events and such show up for months and months, so before I start deleting one by one and then just refreshing the app to have them all come back again, has anyone found a solution.

I have been using Microsoft office 2011 for mac. i am using Outlook client for mails.

( outlook.com)

all of a sudden in the last few days, getting the following error message popping up in the corner, and i cannot do anything but to close it!

it is causing a lot of irritation and i am not sure what is wrong and how to fix it.

any help??

Hi,

One of my clients here at work is unable to see any contacts including the global ones.  We are on Office 365 and he can see all contacts in there.

I have asked him to add a new contact to his outlook client and see if it shows up on the cloud (Office 365) and it did.  I have also asked him to create on in the cloud and see if it shows up on hin client (Outlook 2011) and it did.  Even doing a search on Outlook 2011 returns with nothing.

I have rebuilt his Outlook profile but that didn't help either.  Any idea?

Thanks!

Slim

Hi

Autocomplete for addresses is not working in my outlook client. How can I fix this? I've tried to search for email selection in spotlight but couldn't find it. Can someone help to fix this please?

Thanks
KK
we have an Exchange 2010 Server.  On occasion users have had issues with their Outlook client freezing or crashing.  sometimes I believe it is the result of them leaving their Outlook open and then the system shutting down or rebooting.  None the less we have to rebuild databases to quickly get that operational again.  Some users have brought to my attention that under their My Computer folder there are Recovered Folders which appears to hold data from their Exchange mailbox.  What is the program trying to tell us with these Recovered Folders?  Does these folders contain data that was not synced back to the original location within a users mailbox?  Typically I tell a user that it is safe to delete these Recovered Folders since all mail is stored on the server, yet I want to confirm.   I read in a separate discussion that Diane Ross says it is safe yet there was no further explanation as to what they are and why they appear.
please advise.
I am able to access my account *** Email address is removed for privacy *** via outlook client but cannot access it via the web portal.
My outlook.com credentials are sound as I can access outlook.com via the web and my phone.  However today the Office Outlook software on my PC started repeatedly asking from my password.  I deleted the outlook.com account from Outlook and tried to re-establish it.  It successfully reaches the server but cannot locate my outlook.com credentials.  It then is asks me for my password a couple more times and times out.  I did recently change my password.
