Until yesterday my Outlook for Mac 2011 account worked perfectly.  I have email that automatically syncs from GoDaddy and have had it set up this way for 4 years.

Now, my Outlook Sent Items folder has stopped syncing with my IMAP account and for 24 hrs now has said it's trying to upload 737 items but never does?  So, in other words, I cannot access these emails.  I also looked at my GoDaddy webmail and they are not there either.

I also tried calling GoDaddy to restore emails back a couple days to see if that would work, but nothing.

This is so bizarre.  I am really hoping someone can help me.

Anything?

Thank you.

Trina

I can't believe this. I've had the typical can't connect to server issues and not sending attachments, but today is the day I have to open a GMAIL acct. I can neither send or receive, I just went through creating all new setting with GoDaddy, everything worked for about 4 hours and now I can't send or receive.

All 4 emails are set up as imap with the proper smtp and imap settings. I know that to be true because I tested them.

Man, this program was the best ever when I had my PC and you could even customize events to audio.

I'm pretty certain I have a new update because the icons have changed and folders have sen added where there weren't any before.

If MS has an update that works, I willing to give it a try, I don't particularly care for GMAIL but that's where this latest failure is pointing for me.

Hi please help! I am using GoDaddy and LCN which are pop accounts. Last week I started to receive message of hard disk full and I remembered  I received a notification message from my Outlook as well. I don't really remember what was it exactly but I just ignore it instead because I am worry if I change anything I will lose all my folders and data I created in my Outlook (I am using Outlook 2011). I was holding four/five accounts from my work emails (all GoDaddy emails, e.g info@....). I have created a lot of folders to get them organised. I am very organised person but when it comes to this kind of problem, I am not prepared! Especially for the hidden files not seen, as I am still new with Mac.

Please I need to retrieve back all the emails, I have been organising it for the whole year. My life pretty much depending on it now as I have business overseas to run, contacts and important information in the emails. Now my Outlook is totally empty. The folders are still there but no emails. Please anyone tell me if there is a way I can retrieve back all these emails? It seems something to do with the setting.

Should I reconfigure my Godaddy emails back to outlook?

Please kindly guide me step by step process to solve this, what should I do to undo and retrieve everything back again like before?

I look forward to hear from you.

I have 2 email accounts connected to Outlook. Yahoo (default) and a Go Daddy account. Where do I go to see the GoDaddy account? I only see Yahoo. Also, can I see both inboxes simultaneously/ merged together in one inbox?

Thanks!

hi all, i was wondering if someone can help me with my domain email.  I bought a domain from godaddy and want to use windows live mail to create a email under my domain.  i followed the directions and my service is active.  I am able to log into my new account (eg: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***) and able to send emails out.  but i cannot receive emails.  the sender will get a unable to deliver to that address.  please help thank you in advance
I have configured Outlook.com to provide business email @domainname.com

Outlook has verified my ownership and created a business email successfully.

Though i can send email to anyone but Unfortunately i cannot receive any email.

I have asked the GoDaddy support and they had advised me to contact Outlook.com support.

My GoDaddy DNS TX Record has two values ; provided by outlook.com

I have deleted the default GoDaddy's DNS TX Record Values because Outlook.com was not verifying my ownership with these values.

Godaddy Default TX record Values were : i)  mailstore1.secureserver.net, and smtp.secureserver.net.

KINDLY TROUBLESHOOT THE PROBLEM

THANKS IN ADVANCE.

I have setup my domain jackcoursey.com at godaddy and then went to windows live admin center, domain setting etc.

From there I copied the recommended MX TXT and SRV records and put them into godaddy DNS.

I have been unable to get the mail to work at this point.

Do you have the ability to look at my settings and determine what I might have omitted.

I can copy each of the statements here if necessary (probably should be a private message)

Thanks,

Jack

Hi
I followed the instructions in this thread without any success.

Per the above instructions, I bought the domain seattlemetalsinc.com from GoDaddy and tried to change values in MX and TXT.

Can you please diagnose the problems?

Vadim

Scenario:

Small Business with Office365, all using MacBook Pro

Outlook 2011 works just fine with O365 account

Cannot add second email account using IMAP to Outlook

IMAP account settings are correct and run in Mac Mail, iPad, iPhone, Android Nexus, Windows Outlook 2013, Windows Outlook 2010 and Postbox

IMAP also runs just fine in Outlook 2011 on a different MacBook Pro

IMAP account is from GoDaddy and they can't figure this out

Can anyone explain to me how to add this IMAP account to Outlook 2011 when Office 365 is present?

If my client moves their account off of Office 365 to GoDaddy or Google, this would be a non-issue, but there are other factors prevent us from doing that.  I've spent an extraordinary amount of time on this, which is why I now have this email account installed every which way (on every piece of equipment) except where it is needed.
