OS is 10.7.5 with all updates. Office 2011 with all updates up to 14.2.4
My work email is configured on Windows Outlook using cached Exchange mode (which I gather is the default for Mac Outlook, and cannot be disabled) I also have to set, under the "Connection" tab, "Connect to Microsoft Exchange uisng HTTP" and "Use this URL to
connect to my proxy server for Exchange". I cannot find the equivalent of that in Mac Outlook. Further, I get zero feedback from Mac Outlook... no errors, no indication that it's even trying to do anything. I got the Progress and Errors windows open, and no
matter how I try to configure my account, I don't get any information at all.
What do I need to do to get some kind of response from Outlook to start to figure out how to get my mail working?
Every few days Outlook crashes and makes me rebuild my database.
How do I stop this from happening?
I have three accounts feeding into Outlook. One from Hotmail, one from Network Solutions and one from Gmail (which I use to save messages and is quite large with a hundred folders).

In my hotmail account when I try to go to my contacts it tells me there was an error(screen print below). Same thing happens on other computers. At the same time this started happening - I have a very old hotmail account - reply would not pull in the email
address. Suddenly last week that started working again.

ive tried every thing . just find more people asking the same question on the web. tried going to start all programs .then there is no windows contacts like the web said. in hot mail at one time i could just right click and delete the contact .they were
of the list but could still contact you at a later date i dont want to block these people .

By size or type or name? I have over 200, and they seem to be randomly sorted by default. It's getting hard to visually pick through them and find the one I want in a timely fashion at this point. I suggested a feature like this via feedback a while ago,
but I have no idea if it's been considered or even seen yet...
