Please read OS X 10.8 removes iTunes sync support with Outlook for Mac by MVP William Smith for details.
Outlook for Mac no longer syncs with Mountain Lion’s Calendar (formerly iCal) and Contacts (formerly Address Book) via iTunes. Outlook for Mac users now have just one option for syncing mail, calendars and contacts with any Apple product: Microsoft Exchange,
which is a solution geared more toward enterprise customers. Multiple hosting services offer Exchange for home and small business consumers including Microsoft’s Office 365.
I'm new to MAC. How can I view my contacts in a business card format?
Outlook for Mac 2011 ( Lion 10.7.4)and Exchange Server Sp2 ( 08.02.0301.000).
Accounts connect, but then no email gets downloaded.
Have tried connecting accounts either through Kerebos or
Name and Password, same results occur.
Do we need to move the Exchange Server to a newer Service Pack to fix?
Apple Mail works fine however.
I am using a Mac Air with Outlook 2011. I have forwarded an existing meeting to 2 Exchange users to invite them to meeting. They both accepted. I went to look on my PC Outlook and the 2 users that accepted were not there. I then went back to the Mac
and they weren't there either. What is going on? Is this a sync issue? An Exchange Server setting issue?
When you compose a new email and then enter email address, Entourage would always have that email pop in for you.
WIth outlook 2011, even though I have company name in company field, in contacts, I type in the company, and the email suggest does not seem to work.
Any idea? thanks.

Outlook for Mac 2011 version: 14.2.3 (120616)
Mac OS Version: 10.6.8
Email Service: Microsoft Exchange Online (O365)
Like many others I am having an issues with search within Outlook.
When I use Spotlight to search for a name or something similar it lists Outlook items and I can find them that way. However, the search feature within Outlook does not work.
I have tried re-indexing, both in command line and by dragging the folders/drives to the 'do not search' folder in system preferences.
Neither of which seems to have resolved the problem.
I have also tried to rebuild the identity and even created a new identity.
What else should I try?
thanks!

We are a small nonprofit educational org and are using Office for Mac 2011. I wanted to archive my emails from the year 2010, so I created a folder called "Older" and dragged 5,000 emails to it. They literally disappeared. I have checked my computer
for all ".pst" files; and I went to the Apple "genuis bar" where a trained tech looked for these email files -- they could not be found. Please offer guidance for finding these!
Yesterday I upgraded my MAC OS from 10.6.8 to Mountain Lion. When I did this, it disallowed access to all my emails that were on Entourage 2008 since it won't support Power PC programs. Someone suggested I then up-grade to MSOffice 2011. I got the
trial offer to see how it works. When I tried to import my data, it would only import from Entourage 2004, but not Entourage 2008. When I go to import, it indicates that it has indeed found the Files in my user Files, but below -- where I'm supposed
to highlight it and import -- it says NO Entourage files are found. Don't know what to do now and I can't seem to get any live help. Please prove to me that there is a live person at the end of this....
