When I click on Contacts, I'm directed to People. Why? People does not seem to have a button to open a "person" for editing. Nor does it have a button to return to Hotmail. How can I get the contacts page back.?
Thx, Jeff
I finally got my old account back several weeks ago, and I am still having trouble getting this particular person to show online, when she is online.
Mine always shows her as offline. Nothing should have changed since she was on the old account before. The others that are on that account works
but her. I am getting really frustrated, and upset, because no matter what, I cannot get any help from microsoft. Please help. Thank you.

I basically keep getting the run around. Here's the problem: One: it would be great if I could speak to a person and not get these generic computer generated answers. My problem goes deeper than that because its tell me my account does not EXIST therefore
trying to reset the password is useless on an account it believes does no t exist. On every forum I read it always take me to this useless link below!!!
AND HERE IS THE ANSWER i KEEP GETTING
The Microsoft account is incorrect. Please try again.

I accepted a friend request from someone that I THOUGHT was someone else....well, they're basically sending me pornography, which I DO NOT WANT and I don't know how to delete her! Or him! THE CONTACT! Ive read other answers here, they don't work, it just
brings me to a screen with my facebook contacts and nameless contact. Unless that namess contact is the same as the operson who is sending me pornography, I can't delete a person that isn't in the list! Help, what shoul I do!!!!
HI thanks but what i mean is auto complete not auto correct.
this is the feature which gives us option to choose the email address out of the available ones by the same name after entering just first few characters of the person's name or email id in To, CC or BCC. any suggestions how i can get this feature to
work or reset, it was working fine when i was using outlook on my pervious mac book but after migrating all the data through time capsule to new one with retina, its not working
when I get an email from someone I cannot send a reply back to them. I also can't forward any incoming mail out to another person. Neither reply or forward is working. What is wrong and how do I fix it?
I have a hotmail alert on my email stating my Hotmail has been limited and asks me for my password, etc. I am suspicious and my computer person told me to delete. The sender has a msn.com name but not hotmail. There was a case number also listed and a
PP number. The frustrating thing is how to contact Microsoft and validate or not this email.
I have received others in the past and deleted them with no problems but of all I have received this one looked legit except the sender email address.
I inadvertantly opened a "private message" email from a known person and typed my hotmail account password into the box which appeared to be a typical MS hotmail page. Once I did this, my hotmail account launched an email to everyone in my contacts and
reset my password so I can no longer access my account. I have attempted many times to use MS Hotmail tools to try and recover my account but none have been successful. Each time I try to reset my password from my hacked account, it resets the password on
my alternative account. I have now given up on trying to recover my original (hacked) hotmail account and resigned myself to having lost 10 years of important emails and business infomation. It is a good reminder about how fickle the E-world really is.
