The Mac Outlook looks nothing like the PC version. I want to copy my calendar to put into the body of an email so I can send availability out to contacts. There is no apparent way of doing this?? In the PC version you click on icon - email calendar......so simple!!
How on earth do I do it on the Mac??

I am able to create and send an event successfully to recipients via the Exchange Server. However, when I try to access *** Email address is removed for privacy *** using EWS API calls, I keep getting the error

"The SMTP address has no mailbox associated with it."

In Outlook, all indications are that the calendar and event are fully synchronized.

I have been fighting this issue for hours. Can anyone help?
I know it has been asked a dozen times, but can you sync Outlook Cal/iCal/Google?  I've tried using sync services with iCal...nothing appears.  iCal to Google calendar works like a charm.

I've tried the fix where you delete sync preferences.plist  It didn't work.  I'm a new mac user (been using Outlook PC for years) and have been playing with a trial version (14.2.2).  My OS is 10.7.4.   Do you have to use a 3rd party software?

I'd like to see it work before purchasing Outlook 2011.  Any suggestions?
I have just bought Microsoft Office with Outlook for Mac as I didn't like Entourage and its inability to link with hotmail like Outlook does on a PC. However I have now found that Outlook on a Mac doesn't link with Hotmail either!

I have tried to use a Gmail account, to transfer my hotmail account to then use Outlook to sync to, as Gmail is IMAP and Hotmail is only POP. As I understand it this is the issue?

What I am now having problems with is:

- Under On My Computer / Inbox / Gmail it has downloaded all of my emails, through all of my folders. 900 and counting! Then lower down where it says Gmail and then has all of my folders, there is nothing in this Inbox. How can I get it to just show the emails in my inbox and not the ones I have already filed?

- On hotmail I have got my folders organised with subfolders also, this has not carried through to Gmail nor subsequently Outlook. Is there a solution to this? I.E I have a main folder for 'Personal' then under that there would be one for 'Finance', 'Sport' etc.

Really disappointed with Outlook for Mac as it just doesn't do as it does on a PC and everything else on Apple products seem to work so seamlessly, but email doesn't seem to be.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Regards,

Paul.
I'm using Outlook 2011 (14.2.2).  I've discovered that I can drag messages to that folder but still can't rename it.  When I select rename it looks like I'll be able to rename it but the folder name is automatically un-highlighted to quickly.

The rename of the online "Untitled Folder" is successful via Outlook Web Mail or from Outlook 2010.

Thank you in advance.
I have a load of 'high-priority' emails that I would like to mark as 'normal priority'.  Do I have to click on each individual message to mark as 'normal priority'? This would be very time consuming.  Is there any way I can select all the emails as one block and change all of them to 'normal priority' in one go?

Thanks.

Jonathan
I'm using outlook 2011 for 1,5 year now. Since a motnh I've a problem with the forward date in the messages that i'm forwarding. Normally outlook puts the forward date in the original message. Any mail which has a sent date after 1 may 2012 and is forwarded in my (and 2 other collegues) outlook 2011 will not show the forward date in the message anymore. (so normally you see:  From: ... To:.... Forward date:  .... Subject:). Mails that are sent before 1 may 2012 don't have this problem.
In any other mail program outlook 2010, entourage, apple mail there is no problem with the forward date. Even with the same messages.

Can anybody tell me what happens and how to solve this?
Hi,

I have installed Microsoft office mac 2011 on my apple laptop last year. Yesterday, when I tried to open an existing word doc and try to do a spelling and grammar check it says "Word cannot start the spelling check. The spelling checker files may be missing. Make sure the spelling checker file are installed or use the Microsoft office Installer to install the spelling checker." I can't exit out after this pop up appears the only way to exit is to force quit on my apple computer.
Please let know why this is happening and how I can possibly fix it.

Thanks!
How do you make a clickable link to a filepath that has a space in it?

I need to send a link to staff in an office that allows them to open an smb filepath in a directory with a space.

In the following example the directory is /sharename/this directory.

 I have tried:

smb://sharename/this\ directory

and

file:///Volumes/sharename/this\ directory

and

smb://Voumes/sharename/"this\ directory"

I'm stumped. has anyone been able to do this successfully in outlook?
Is it possible to link a message to a contact, or group of contacts in Outlook 2011. I know it was possible in previous versions, or in Entourage. But I can't seem to figure it out in this version...

Thanks,

Mark Sass
