outlook 2011 unable to create subdirectory under inbox

Hi all,

environnement :

macosx 10.8.2

Outlook 2011

mail account : office365

When I want to create a directory under mailbox or in the same level of inbox, it creates a "no name" directory.

When I want to rename that directory with an other name, it's like I have pressed the enter or the esc key and don't allow me to change something. (or I need to be as fast as superman) :-)

I don't have the problem if I disconnect my exchange office mailbox to be in offline mode.

why and of course how to permit the directory creation in online mode ?

any idea ?

I've added a shared mailbox to my exchange account (using Office 365 hosted exchange account). In Outlook the shared mailbox appears but the folder structure is out of order and not all (sub)folders are synched.

I've tried removing the shared mailbox, adding it again, synching and emptying the cache of the mailbox but none of these methods seem to work.

When accessing the mailbox using OWA on Office365, all (sub) folders appear to be in the right place..

Any ideas what can be done to correct this?

recently I went into my mailbox and it had completely changed! much of it had been deleted! my files/subfiles were virtually all different and while some folders were generally the same ..for the most part all my messages within were gone! almost of the messages remaining were the same single message! I can only assume that `Hotmail' unilaterally decided to `clean house' without notifying me.!! Had I know I would have downloaded my account and it's messages... to put it mildly ...I'm pissed! Is there any way to retrieve any of my `lost' information??

I would like to be able to add multiple accounts to the same. Now I know you can link accounts, but what i really want is to be able to send and receive emails via one mailbox (so I might receive an email to one of my addresses but I want to send a response with another.)

I have my domain hosted with domains.live.com, but I cannot work out how to add a new send/receive account to my mailbox. I tried adding it with the pop of pop3.live.com but then it tells me I need to link the accounts, which I don't mind, but I want to be able to consolidate my mailbox.

Outlook has opened multiple file folders spontaneously, numbered Inbox 1, Inbox 11, Inbox 111 etc etc.

Outlook has opened multiple folders for each foder category,Drafts, Inbox, Trash etc.... then as data is refreshed, results in error message ... Invalid mailbox name: Trash 111111111... Error code 1025
