Hi all.
We have one client using Outlook 2011, connected to an Exchange 2010 account. When he deletes emails in Outlook, the changes do not appear to take effect when he logs in later via OWA, his iPad or a windows client. And changes he makes at home (via OWA)
then take effect when he opens outlook here at work when it first updates everything.
I've spent a bit of time looking at the settings between his machine and a working account, and I can't seem to find what is different and causing the problems. And, as I take it, because it's an exchange account, the option of "Delete emails from the
server when deleted on this computer" (or however it goes) isn't anywhere in the options..
Anyone have any ideas?
Cheers,
Nathan.
I am currently on an exchange server with work and use Outlook 2011. I will no longer be with the company after tomorrow. I want to delete my exchange account and e-mails from the server (so that nobody can't see them after I am gone), but I want to
still be able to see them in Outlook when I use it through a pop account. Is there a way to copy e-mails from an exchange account (using outlook) to a pop account (also using outlook). In the end, I will want to delete my entire exchange account and files
off of one computer but still be able to see all the e-mails and calendar content from that account in another account. What's the best way to do that?
In Entourage 2004 I used to do a verify and then a compact identity every month for maintenance. I see with Outlook it's just rebuild only?
What can I do? I use Gmail on my iPhone and through Outlook. On Office:mac 2010 it worked fine! I want to add a calendar event to my iPhone and it appears in my Outlook and vice versa.
When I add a calendar event to my Outlook on my Macbook pro I want it to show up on my iPhone calendar and vice versa.
I have done this for a long time and had no problem with Office:mac 2010.
I have Gmail set up on my iPhone as an exchange and i've tried that on my Outlook but to no avail.
Please advise!!
I am a registered user of Mac Office Personal. I recently want to try out Mac Outlook. When attempting to load Outlook I was told I had to upgrade to do that. I opted for the trial upgrade to see if I liked it. I don't. Now I'd like to revert back to my
fully licensed version of Mac Office Personal. What is the easiest way to do that?
Do I need to first completely uninstall Office Business and then reinstall Office Personal? That's okay. I just want to make sure that won't count as a second install. I have the Family Pack that includes three installs.

I just recently updated to Office 2011 from Office 2008. While the import of Entourage data was relatively clean, I end up with nearly ALL of my calendar events tied to my old Entourage calendar. If I uncheck the Entourage calendar most appointments
disappear. In addition, all new appointments entered into Outlook 2011 end up as an Entourage event.
In very short order I want to totally remove Entourage (and the rest of Office 2008) from my Mac but am now unsure what will happen to all my calendar events.
So, my questions:
1. How do i get the Entourage entries to appear as Outlook entries?
2. How do I get new appointment entries to NOT appear as Entourage events?
3. What happens to the Entourage events if/when I get rid of Office 2008 (including the identities - which, of course, I will back up)?
Thank you
Hi!
Office/Outlook 2011 for Mac - OS X 10.7.4
I can't paste copied text into emails. I have a particular email that I send out that is a template and I copy the text from there and then paste it into the new email.
The paste function isn't working though. If I try to do more than a paragraph or so at a time it won't paste. If I do a paragraph at a time it does work.
What's wrong and how can I fix it? I can't do a paragraph at a time, it's many paragraphs long and I send it out sometimes over 10 times a day.

Okay, follow up... I can't copy text from a draft created in Outlook into a new email but I can copy text from a Word document into an email. Works but cumbersome.
But when I pasted the text from Word into the email it increased the font size by 5 points in the pasted result... ?

Thank you so much!
