deleting imap from computer but not server

I am using Outlook 2011 and am moving my email accounts from POP to IMAP.  I have thousands of emails and under POP, I liked the fact that I had it configured that when I deleted emails on my laptop, they would still be on the server (as a backup).  Under IMAP, it has brought back ALL of these emails into my Outlook and I am concerned about disk space.

How do I configure Outlook so I can delete and IMAP email on my laptop, have it "removed" from my PC but still leave a copy on the server?

How do I find my original email attachment in a thread? I seem to always get the last reply and can't forward the original...can we revert to the old understandable hotmail.  Even if I save (as I had done) my original email in a seperate folder, it insists on giving me ALL associated replies when i access it.....help!!

Contacts accidentally filtered

When I go to ALL in my contacts list it says that I have filtered out all of my contacts.

How can I undo this.

when sending/forwarding emails

When I click on CC or BCC, my contacts show up (only 6 or so at the time and they are not alphabetically).  HOWEVER, this list that pops us consists of ALL emails i have sent to people, including emails ive sent to banks/catalogs, etc., asking them questions.  Certainly not ones i want in my regular contact list.  HOW DO I DELETE THESE EMAIL ADDRESSES FROM COMING UP WHEN I WANT TO SEND EMAILS TO MY CONTACTS?  Also,  on this short list of names that pops up, I have to always click the last one or it doesnt continue with the rest of my contact names.  So therefore, i have to click on this last person even though i dont want to send to this person, before the nex group of names comes up.  WHY?

It happens no matter what computer I use or browser

How to eliminate ALL SPAM MAIL from coming in, period ?

In the last 2 months I have been getting a "ton" of SPAM junk mail, about 40 to 50 per DAY !  I use to not get near this amount for the past years !  Of course I have them going to my "Junk Mail" box but even that is a hassel to go through checking for viable emails, report them to "Phishing scam" and then emptying them out of my Delete mail box.  How can I prevent any, if not ALL, SPAM JUNK MAIL from coming in in the first place or period ???  Someone PLEASE help me !

Why have I started receiving in excess of 200 spam message per day?

I have always received  some spam message in my Junk folder and accepted that.  However, within recent months I have been receiving well over 200 spam per day.  My concern is that some legitimate emails are also being sent to the Junk folder instead of my Inbox.   I try to block as much spam as possible but it has become tiring since the spam senders modify their domain name by 1 character/digit so a huge amount of  spam gets through.  I would like to set my preferences to delete ALL spam but unfortunately some legitimate emails arrive in the Junk even though they are listed in my Contacts and also  as 'safe' in my preferences under 'safe and blocked' senders.  I don't want to lose legitimate emails hence opted not to set my preferences to delete all spam immediately.  I don't want all this spam and would appreciate it you can advise how can this be resolved.

Messed up Outlook 2011 Calendar after importing Entourage 2008

I just recently updated to Office 2011 from Office 2008.  While the import of Entourage data was relatively clean, I end up with nearly ALL of my calendar events tied to my old Entourage calendar.  If I uncheck the Entourage calendar most appointments disappear.  In addition, all new appointments entered into Outlook 2011 end up as an Entourage event.

In very short order I want to totally remove Entourage (and the rest of Office 2008) from my Mac but am now unsure what will happen to all my calendar events.

So, my questions:
1.  How do i get the Entourage entries to appear as Outlook entries?
2. How do I get new appointment entries to NOT appear as Entourage events?
3.  What happens to the Entourage events if/when I get rid of Office 2008 (including the identities - which, of course, I will back up)?

My account {Removed PII} is being blocked and i do not know the default email address that they are sendng the code? I have to retrive alots of my emails including air tickets. I seriously need urgent help. I have posted a submission request 3 times but they have totally ignore.

I desperatly need some advise on this. Thanks ALL.
