Hi,

I have read many community websites on suggesting how to take my mails from Outlook Mac to MS Outlook. Many says import you OLM file and then a 3rd party software to convert OLM to PST. I have checked many 3rd party software all are paid.
Some also suggest to drag all the mails to desktop folder and then to MS Outlook 2010. I have got 4 mail accounts configured to Mac Outlook with over 8000 mails saved in 30 folder.  (this is after i have cleaned my mailbox for unwanted mails)

If i can transfer my PST to Mac Outlook without paying a penny, i am sure there has to a be a way to do so for Mac outlook to MS Outlook 2010.

Please suggest a simple way to shift from Mac Outlook to MS Outlook 2010.

Hello Friends...

In Office for Mac, I can create a local data file (pst), to I archive my Mails...?

thanks and greetings.
First, let me state that I am very familiar with Outlook for PC's and rather proficient in the Mac OS.  I have a client that had their hard drive in their Mac crash (no backup through time machine).  A new hard drive was installed and the OS loaded.  A hard drive recovery company was able to recover all of the data on the crashed hard drive, and I now have the Database files that Outlook creates (there is more than one, but if I can get one restored, then I can do the rest.)

If this were a windows computer, I know I can just put the PST file into the Accounts, and have access to all of the old emails.  It just doesn't seem to be the same way with a mac.  I need to know how to do this.  Any help would be awesome!
How can I restore my whole old "pst" database after reinstalling office for mac due to reinstall of OS X. Where I can find the imported PST files in OS X so that I could retore those to clean install
Outlook Email in Finder - I had thousands and thousand of duplicated emails in Finder and tried to delete the duplicates which caused me to REBUILD the Outlook DB - however, now Outlook will not open at all.  I want to start all over and reload(import) the OLD PST file from my HP to Mac Outlook but I want to make sure all those files are gone in Finder.  What should I do now?  Help!

We are running Exchange 2010.  We have a mixed Mac/Windows environment.  I have a couple users moving to Win7 from OSX.  They have some emails stored locally in Outlook 2011.  I need to export these and import them into Outlook 2010.  Microsoft in all it's infinite wisdom has setup Outlook 2011 to import from a .pst but cannot export to a .pst.  Any suggestions as to the best way to do this?  And before you post, no, throwing the emails back into their Exchange mailbox is not an option.  There are way too many of them.

Thanks
problem in office 2011-outlook- for mac ( lion )

i have just installed office 2011 for mac ( lion ) and facing a unique problem, the outlook page opens for a day or so, i am able to get and send emails but after a while ( usually when i try to import my old data .pst - emails / contacts anything ) the outlook page disappears, it just shows the top bar and nothing else.
i have tried reinstalling it thrice, but no use. same software working fine on a different machine. pls help as what can be the possible issue and how to rectify it
I recently upgraded work computers from a Windows to Mac Pro Retina.  I bought Outlook 2011 for Mac, and setup all of the same e-mail addresses that had been on my Windows Outlook.  However, I am missing a few older e-mails.  I have a couple from the pas few years, but there should be many, many more.  Recent e-mails are fine.

These are all on my Windows outlook, but didn't not sync with my Mac.  I did not import anything from my outlook, I simply setup the addresses.  First, is this because these e-mails were possibly archived or for a different reason?  And second, what do I need to do to move these old e-mails over?  I've read about importing a .pst (?) file from windows to mac, however I am concerned that this would cause recently sent e-mails to disappear.  So what is the best way to move these older e-mails over?

I have been using an external hard drive to save my outlook data file .PST in windows OS, so when I'm using another pc/ notebook I could just connect my external HD and follow up with my emails. I recently got a mac & wondering how I can do the same (moving between WINDOWS & MAC), I've been trying to but seems it can't as outlook in Mac has different extension .OLM

Please advise.

Thanks,

Ridwan
