Hi,

in 2012 i bought MAC and now i have OSX 10.9.2 installed. i imported all my E-Mail from Windows based Outlook into New Mac from 2 identites. I merged all E-Mails into 1 MAC indentity in Main. Total E-Mails just 1 week before i can see can inbox were 168,000 but today i see they are 128000. Are they auto Archived???  but i don,t see any folder. Can you explain where to locate folder so i can backup all my data?

Further i tried to export all my Mac Outllook but i just tried to recheck by making new identity in MAC Outlook and when Imported i see only 28000 Emails in Inbox instead of 128000. why all E-Mails not exported??

I need to save all my Outllok office data and need urgent help.  How to Backup outlook Data and how???

Hi,

I am using Mac Outlook 2011. Recently my MBP HDD crashed sending me into panic mode as i did not have a recent backup of files. I ran DataRescue and recovered files.

I had to reinstall OS and Office MAC 2011. From the recovered file i have got  the Database and folders naming 0k to 31K with files naming MsgSource.

Can some please help me rebuild my Outlook.

I just bought a new Macair.  I cloned my old data using CCC but my Outlook Mail and folders etc did not come across.  I have tried to Export my old mail as an OLM file but it just stops after about 10 mins and says that I stopped the process.  Please can anyoe help!
As above, My old PC died (power supply) was 7 yrs old so bought a new one.  The HD was fine and working so I thought I could save all my data and programs by hooking up the old HD as an external HD to the new computer.  The new PC sees and reads the old drive but all of the Outlook data (contacts, email addresses, old mail)everything is gone.  I thought I could just take the Outlook data and move it to the new drive but can't locate it.

Also none of the old programs work any longer.   Can someone tell me where to find the old Outlook data on the old drive??  AND how to load on the new pc HD. I've reloaded office 2010 there already.

Appreciate any help offered.
thanks
Tom
I was deleting old emails from Outlook 2011 for Mac, OS 10.6.8, when the program crashed.

Upon restarting, all my calendar events were gone, except for one event.  Meanwhile, all my contacts and email appear to be intact.

I have my Outlook data backed up with duplicate of my identity, but that backup was from three weeks ago.

Is there a way to merge the newer emails and contacts that are still on my non-backup identity with the backed up identity, with the intent to not lose any of the data created between now and my last backup?

I also have Outlook 2011 syncing with iCal in order to sync with my iPhone.

Thanks in advance,

catfell
I have a MacBook Air and am running Office 2011.  I moved the "Office 2011 Identities / Main Identity" files into my Google Drive folder, in an attempt to create a backup function for a large amount of Outlook folders I created to store old emails.  When I relaunched Outlook all the folders were gone. I copied the folders back to the place where I found them, but that has not helped.  What can I do to restore them on Outlook?

I have been using an external hard drive to save my outlook data file .PST in windows OS, so when I'm using another pc/ notebook I could just connect my external HD and follow up with my emails. I recently got a mac & wondering how I can do the same (moving between WINDOWS & MAC), I've been trying to but seems it can't as outlook in Mac has different extension .OLM

Please advise.

Thanks,
