I'm new to Office 2011.  Is there a way to change the way the "From" column is displayed when viewing emails in a mail folder.  Virtually all of the time, the actual "From" address is not shown.  Instead, there are one or more words displayed, such as "Discover" for emails that are sent from Discover.

I would like the complete email address displayed.  Is that possible to do?

When I want to press and select my "Inbox"to read. Anything happens. And also my save "Draft" folder. When I select to open my it. It doesn't let me open it. And see my save drafts.  What really weird about this. Is at work. I can open my Inbox and Draft folder. But when I use my three different laptops of minds. It will not let me open my Inbox or Drafts. Only at my job PC. I can open my Inbox and Draft folder.

Original title: Outlook 2011 for Mac woes

I have been using Outlook 2007 on a PC.  I am not trying to use Outlook 2011 on a Mac.  I have all my mailboxes (current and some older ones I created when the mailbox got too big) in On My Computer and I have a single inbox.  So when I receive a message, I can move it to the folder I want in my current "mailbox".  But when I send a message, I don't have the option of saving to a folder that I select at the time I am composing the message.  Instead, it either saves to "Sent", where I have to move it later, or I can create a rule that will always save to a folder I name.  What I would like it to do is prompt for the folder name at the time I am composing the message.  Just like Outlook 2007.  Why would they remove this useful feature?

After I send an email with attachments I get a yellow highlighted message on top saying the mail was sent but cannot be saved in the sent folder because I have exceeded the email storage capacity of 10240 MB. How can I increase my storage capacity to unlimited ?  If that is not possible what is the alternative solution to save my sent messages with attachment ?

I frequetly delete e-mails without opening them because they are obviously junk. However when I go to my deleted folder they show as opened or read?

Hi,

Wondering if anyone knows if there is a way to extend outlook for the mac with Office for Mac 2011?  My use cases are complicated, but basically need to get the item ID of an email and also hook into events such as:

- drag and drop to a folder

- send an email

- delete an email

Thanks,

Chris

My email was hacked and spam sent to all of my contacts (only 4 spam emails were in my sent folder).  I've changed the hotmail password and am in the process of changing my other passwords as a precaution.  During the process about 40 minutes ago I noticed that I received three delivery status notification delays.  I think the spam emails are still trying to be delivered but I'm not 100% sure.  If I'm right, is there anyway to stop them and prevent others from being sent?
