I have a similar problem with my WLM account. I've been using it on my laptop for two years or more and then suddenly this morning I'm getting a similar error message to Nishad apart from the Port which is 110 and the (SSL) No. I'm still getting my emails
coming through on my Tablet and can pick up my account on the web, so it appears that it has nothing to do with my account provider (not Yahoo by the way). I've also spoken to my provider and there is nothing wrong there. They say it's a Windows issue. Help
please chunterbox

I have alternative email addresses set up in WLM that use gmail (i.e., *.gmail). These accounts can receive mail, but I receive a "cannot connect to server" error message when I attempt to send messages from these accounts. I have set up identical accounts on two other computers (using WLM and IMAP), and they function normally. Obviously, I am missing something!
Any guidance is appreciated.

I have Windows Live Hotmail Plus, and for the last few days, I'm unable to reply to or forward email.
I receive an error message that says:
"Hotmail was not able to complete this request. Microsoft may contact you about any issues you report."
Please give TECHNICAL SUPPORT, not a forum answer.
Thank you.

I can open Windows Live Mail and see new un-read messages added to my inbox from my comcast.net email provider. When I click on them to open them, nothing happens, no error message, nothing. If I then try closing Windows Live Mail, opening Sent Items,
opening Contacts, all are frozen and do not respond at all. Sometimes I get a "Windows Live Mail not responding" message. I have to re-start my computer in order to close the WLM program.
