I get the following error."Outlook cannot find server. Verify the server information is entered correctly in Account Settings." I haven't changed a thing, and everything looks in order? I am on a mac and my email address is through yahoo.
Incoming server pop.att.yahoo.net: 995
outgoing is smtp.att.yahoo.net :587.
I've check "Override default port" and checked "use SSL to connect".
Please help?
It makes me crazy that I cannot see the actual email address from a sender - since people have multiple emails and sometimes change them - and the computer recalls OLD emails - how in the heck do i see what actual email address is on an email sent to me???
VERY frustrating. Please help.
Have tried using POP settings posted on various Outlook.com forums, to no avail.
Unable to have mail received AND sent via Outlook for Mac.
Would love some help on successfully setting up e-mail delivery via Outlook for Mac just as I have with my Gmail accounts.
Matt
Since upgrading to Mt Lion on my MacBook Pro the following is happening:
Takes almost 3 minutes for Outlook to open.
Won't send emails immediately per preferences.
Doesn't send all emails puts some in Drafts.
Only gets Gmail and ignores Yahoo
Generally works slower than Outlook on a PC.
Is this at all common to anyone else?

Hello all,
I'm looking for the way to create archive like PST in Outlook 2011 for Mac.
I know it's possible to create mbox files, but I can't acces them like PST files in Outlook : when I double-click a mbox file, a new mail window is opened with the mbox file in attachment.
Thank you. Have a good day.
In the Windows version i can do: File, New, Folder. This in order to organize and file my e-mails. My Mac version -2011- shows the Folder command in grey, as if it is unavailable. Why is this? Why can't i use this function? Thanks.
Outlook for Mac email accounts preferences won't allow changes to Account Descriptions to be saved. Please help!
