I have a folder I keep in Outlook called archive. It's just old emails from friends etc.

My Outlook identity is about 3GB. I guess 2/3 of that is from this folder.

Would the software open/ close or perform better it that folder was removed? thanks.

IS THERE A NUMBER TO CALL AT HOTMAIL.
THESE WERE AN ARCHIVE OF MY BUSiNESS AND IMPORTANT INFO OVER A 10 YEAR PERIOD SO I AM IN REAL TROUBLE.

this seems to be associated with outlook.
I just got a message saying hotmail was converting to Outlook.

This was terrible because all my email s froze and I could not open them up.

Maybe that is because I have a MAC not a PC.

I can't use Hotmail any more if I cannot save my important information.

I would pay to get my emails back.

Can anyone help me please.  This has turned my life upside down. I thought emails were safe to keep.
My main identity is now 10.7GB.. how do i safely reduce the size or archive contents ??

Is there an option like there was with Office windows to do this ??

I'm using an SSD so space at the moment is crucial..

Any suggestions....
When I attempt to archive my email and contacts, the program consistently crashes and I have to restart it. The backup archive file is not completed and not usable./  This has happened multiple times. I did rebuild my database but this did not help. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Hello all,

I'm looking for the way to create archive like PST in Outlook 2011 for Mac.

I know it's possible to create mbox files, but I can't acces them like PST files in Outlook : when I double-click a mbox file, a new mail window is opened with the mbox file in attachment.

Thank you. Have a good day.

I've followed the directions but it does not seem to archive.  Help.
How do I archive a date range of e-mails to a folder on my Mac and retain their original dates?
