My birthday calendar is showing birthdays one day prior to the date entered in the contact.  Is there a solution to this problem?
I just switched back (on my Mac) from Outlook to Hotmail.  Now on the left side of the screen is a list of my folders and at the bottom a list of my messages including the subject, date and time but I can't open anything.  The rest of the screen is blank.  Please help.  Thank you.
Date: December 13, 2012.  I get the above mentioned error when my Motorola Bravo cell phone checks for new emails.  No settings have been changed and it was working a few days ago.
My msn messenger 2011 was working perfectly fine, until I had some updates for my windows. I came back and the date and time was changed and all my contacts on msn are offline when they are actually online. I have seen the tip to erase the file in :

C:\Users\<Windows logon name>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live\Contacts

But what to do when the
AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live\Contacts doesn't exist on the computer?

I see that all of a sudden my emails are being clumped together.  I read that messages are being threaded by default.  Is there any way to unthread them?  I wanted to search for a particular original message which I knew the date and time sent, but it was not there because it had a thread which I read then deleted. Evidently it deletes EVERY message in that thread, not just the one you just read.  Also, even if you do not delete the additional threaded messages, the original message is not in the time/date location in which it was sent, so now you can't find it by knowing when you got it.  You have to search through all your emails.  Perhaps I am just technology impaired and there is a way to keep the messages in that thread that you want and delete others.  If so, please tell me how.  I'd rather just have my messages unthreaded.  Please help.  This is definitely not a help for emails.  Thank you.  BTW, this is regular Hotmail, not Outlook which I do not want to use.

in month view the date and time show against each event so that nothing but the date and time are visible thus rendering the calendar useless. How can I remove the date and time from the events in this view?
This happens on both my 2011 17" MBP, and my 2009 27" iMac.  I'm running Mountain Lion, and keep all Microsoft updates up to date.

Very frustrating, as I never recall having to do this on a WIndows machine.

I'm now considering switching to Windows 8 due to all of the troubles I continue to have with using Microsoft's 2011 office products on a Mac - just a pain.  I left Windows because of Vista and Norton AntiVirus (hate both).  But now with Windows 8 Pro, I'm considering the switch for better integration with Office365, which I migrated our company to last year.
How do I get time a message was sent to me to display?  The date is displayed, but not the time
Dont know what has happened but my listing of e-mails has changed from a date listing to alphabet listing.  Please how do I get this back to date listing.  I would be very grateful if someone could help.   Was easy to do when I had Outlook Express.
