Is this email legitimate? Is my account going to be deactivated?

I received an email that says it is from Windows Live Customer Care (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***).  It says this is my final warning that I need to upgrade my account or it will be deactivated.  It asks for my full name, user name, password, year of birth, and country.  Is this email legitimate?

My name is James Reed. My hotmail account was hacked last Thursday or Friday. I tried to reset my account and when I was prompt I filled out the questions asked. I did not realize at the time but continue to provide info as to where I live today and not where I lived at the time I opened my account. I will provide all that in this message. Name: James A. Reed  I lived in Salem, Virginia. My address {removed}. My phone number at that time was area code {removed}. E-mails that I've recently sent, which is not many one I remember was to *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, I also send one to a Jeremy but that's all I remember about his e-mail. My e-mail address is *** Email address is removed for privacy *** and I do not want to lose all my contacts that are in there at this time. There are 3 video files you can check out all music.. Stand By Me sang world wide, A harmonica solo at Carnegie Hall and one I think of Old Country Western showes. I remember using a password of mrtator43 but its been along time ago. I am who I say I am. My birthday is  {removed}. Please I ask you all to help me restore this acccount as I do not want to lose all my contact info as I have friends all around the country.  I ask you all again.....please help me. My phone numbers are {removed} cell {removed}

Did Hotmail send email from randrkitchens asking for critical information on my account?

Ok - I received an email from Hotmail Team - urgently asking me to confirm my username, password, etc or else i would have my account shut down. The email was from *** Email address is removed for privacy *** - is this legitimate??

 

I dont think so but want to hear straight from Windows Live

I will not do anything until I hear from someone that this is correct.  If it is not - then someone is trying to steal my account.

 

Please let me know.

Email from Windows Live Team (in junk folder) asking for details within 48 hours-genuine or not?

I got an email stating that I need to provide the following information in 48 hours or my account will be lost:*Name  *Username *Password  *Date of birth  *Country or Territory. This email was from *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. Is this a genuine email from Hotmail? Because it was in my junk folder. Hence, I am uncertain about the credibility of this email. Reply is eagerly awaited and greatly appreciated. 24 hours have already elapsed!

My email has been spam, some one got in my email by changing my pass word and for about a week I couldn't get in my email. I findly was able to change my pass word, but a notice above the page is telling me that my email is going to another box.What do I do now, how do I stop it. This person is sending email to my family and friends and the people I work for  saying I am in another country, wanting about $3,000 .00. Can this be stop, or do I change my email address?
