We have a user whose main identity database is corrupt, and the database utility just hangs with no progress, even left running overnight.
The disc itself checked out clean, but it appears the identity is beyond repair.
Is there any way to salvage some of the mail stored locally in that identity?
We use Exchange, but have pretty strict size limits, resulting in most folks saving mail locally.
There was a recent Time Machine backup (though I'm not sure if that database is corrupt), but we're getting a "you don't have access" error when I try to restore it, so I can't test it.
Thanks in advance for your advice!
Ever since went from XP to Windows 7, none of my contacts are ever online. One happens to be my boss who I know for a fact is online every day since this is a faster way to communcate. They use MSN messenger but Geek Squad told me windows live messenger is the same thing with a different name. Never once have I seen one of my contacts on line. Never had this problem when I had MSN Messenger. Please Advise.
