This is a test post.
Good Afternoon

We are using outlook 2011, 14.2.3
i was using a client side rule to move a message once it arrives.
Now that we are using office 365 i can no longer create a client side rule to move a message, so i created a server side rule to do the same thing.
That worked fine, however this was just a test.
so i disabled (not deleted)the rule within outlook 2011 and the next time i went into tools Menu, rules
The rule had disappeared, very odd.

Any ideas where this rule went?

Thanks

I am using Windows Live Mail to access many email address all into separate inboxes. They are a mixture of bigpond and hotmail accounts.

Until now they all worked fine. I have just added a new email address *** Email address is removed for privacy *** , this new account successfully sends to all my other address but receives only from the other hotmails and not from the bigpond addresses. The bigpond accounts are showing the test messages in the sent folder and no error is received neither does the email get returned (bounced). When I access the new hotmail account through webmail the test messages are not there either. I have 2 other hotmail (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) and they work fine. What am I missing here ?

trying to set up a second email address.  it says its there but when I try to send myself a test email, it bounces back undeliverable.  Then, under the verfify part, it says try again later, for teh past six days?  Any suggestions for finding a solution?  Thanks!

"You can't use @msn.com in your Microsoft account email address. Please try a different email address."   This is the error message I get, even though it allowed me to set the email address up in the first place???  Wouldn't matter as much but already printed the wife and my business cards....

always says service temparly not available

even though  test in repair are all good why?

only happens on my laptop  but not when using another computer

I installed the 14.2.3 Office update.  It installed fine and is running without error.  However, when I check my console, I am getting a regular error posting from 'com.microsoft.SyncServicesAgent' claiming that the file it is trying to use isn't found.  That is correct because it is trying to use a test identity I created while trying to undo a failed installation Office 14.2.0, I have checked .plist files and can find no place where this identity is listed.

How can I get SyncServices to stop looking for this identity?
The host 'smtp.live.com ' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly.

Subject 'test mail from links@dc'
Server: 'smtp.live.com '
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0D
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 587
Secure(SSL): Yes
Socket Error: 11001

I've also tried changing the port to 25, but I still get the same error.
I am on Outlook 2011 for Mac, 14.2.3. A week ago I opened Outlook and everything had disappeared. I followed all the steps to rebuild my identity, make the identity default etc... and Yay, Everything returned to normal, or so I thought. NOW anything I do in outlook (send e--mails, create calendar entries, add contacts) is not there after I reboot. I even started a brand new blank identity, sent a test e-mail, shut down, restarted, and sure enough, the sent email is not in my sent folder, and outlook couldn't even remember my e-mail account info. Any ideas? Really need help.
