i just got an email from hot mail team tittled last warning asking for personal .

is this a scam or what as i dont know and dont want my account shut down,they say last warning ,need account pass word,birth date and other personal info,it said from hotmail team.last warning or account will be lost.

im just a old 40 +year old mom that has only been using computer for 2 years,what should i do.

Has anyone else had a request from a Windows Live Hotmail Team (email *** Email address is removed for privacy ***) asking for your account name, password, security questions etc. They keep telling me we will loose our hotmail email account if we do not provide this information? Is this a scam??

I have been getting these emails Account Final Warning!‏ and wonder if this is phishing or legitimate??? I do not know? from hotmail team??

Received the following email in my Inbox moments ago from an email address, *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, claiming to be Microsoft Live Maintenance team. Is this authentic, a hoax, or a virus?

IMMEDIATE ATTENTION REQUIRED

Dear Customer,

Windows Live Hotmail® accounts has been growing really fast.

We are having too many congested email due to the anonymous registration of Hotmail, Msn, and Live Accounts on our database system. Please reconfirm your email account and information to know if your account is still active and will also be recorded on our new database system.

We need you to fill in the information below within 48hours or you will lose your account permanently.

*Name

*Username

*Password

*Date of birth

*Country or Territory

Here are some ways to help you manage your account after you reconfirm your account.

Create an archive - Set up a folder on your PC’s hard drive where you can save large attachments. Then just delete them from your inbox. You’ll still have them and your inbox will be that much smaller.
Make your filters work for you- Did you know you can set up your Hotmail account to immediately delete junk e-mail? Go to Options, and click Filters and reporting. Under the “Delete junk e-mail” section, select Immediately to delete junk e-mail right away. Once you’re finished, click Save and you’re done.
Delete a bunch of mail at once- Go to your Junk and Deleted folders, and clear them out by clicking the “Empty” button in the action bar.

On 6 October 2012, I have received an email from *** Email address is removed for privacy *** asking me to give my full name, hotmail username, date of birth and password to my hotmail account within 24 hours otherwise I would lose my hotmail account permanently. My question is " *** Email address is removed for privacy *** a genuine hotmail team tasked with updating all hotmail accounts or some of hotmail users, like me?

I am anxiously looking forward for any answer or comment to my question.

Ok - I received an email from Hotmail Team - urgently asking me to confirm my username, password, etc or else i would have my account shut down. The email was from *** Email address is removed for privacy *** - is this legitimate??

I dont think so but want to hear straight from Windows Live

I will not do anything until I hear from someone that this is correct. If it is not - then someone is trying to steal my account.

Outlook on iPhone problem

Hey team,

The number of emails in my Outlook inbox keeps increasing on my iPhone but when I look into my inbox there are no new emails. The number has now surpassed 2,000!

It's really frustrating as my phone keeps vibrating informing me of new emails.

Has anyone experience something similar? Any help would be appreciated.

In fact the email above I the person that won this email, time ago I made to him this email (i removed it above).

when I clicked here moved me to another page and asked me again to but my email and password i trust that because i have Kaspersky internet hen asked security. Then asked me to log in my friend email, in this pint i stopped and i got yellow bar above ask me checked my security. Directly i went to change my password but i can’t say incorrect password repeated that many times but no way.
My account still work fine......but i am afraid is this hacker or not and i am still safe.

Same time I used outlook.Upgraded

I got an email stating that I need to provide the following information in 48 hours or my account will be lost:*Name *Username *Password *Date of birth *Country or Territory. This email was from *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. Is this a genuine email from Hotmail? Because it was in my junk folder. Hence, I am uncertain about the credibility of this email. Reply is eagerly awaited and greatly appreciated. 24 hours have already elapsed!
