I have answered the security questions and am not receiving any replies in the 24 hr period as stated. The telephone number and email address i provided when i opened my account 10 years ago have both been lost as my telephone number belonged to the company
who's email address I provided has shut down now. How can I access the account have phoned Microsoft who are not useful at all.

I have/had a Hotmail account and received a notice that it might have been hacked. I tried to answer the security questions but was unable to do so satisfactorily for the automated system. I know plenty about the account but not enough for the questions
asked. Is there any way I can get my account back? Thank you.

Today, I have been locked out of both - starts off reporting "enter your password and the characters in the picture correctly".
Well I know the password is correct 'cos I copy/paste it.
Is there some problem with the captcha?
So I go down the 'cant access your account route' and end up with the security form.
Well I only recorded the key security questions I was asked when I signed up for the account - DoB,. security question but these don't appear anywhere on the form
I mean what was the point of asking security questions if they were not going to be used.!!!
So is there now anyway I can recover these accounts?

I am trying to get onto my old Hotmail account and i cant remember the password, and of the security questions, i only have the email that I'm trying to get onto associated with it so i cant get the password sent to me, so i fill out the questionnaire
but i don't remember a lot of the information like my old postal code, security questions, or recently sent emails, and i didn't have any saved contacts, so i filled out what i could and it says it will email me the email within 24 hours to let me know if

I set up an account for my mum (she isn't that tech savvy) using all of her personal info, but now she cant remember her email address to log in. We know the answers to all of the security questions and I was sure I linked her account to mine so that if she forgot her password an email would be sent to my account, however I cant seem to find anything within my account.
Is there a way I can enter her personal details and answer the security questions to get access to email account

My hotmail account has been hacked and after filling out several forms of security questions and being told they still cant verify me, and going to live chat to get help and getting nowhere I need to get back into my account as I have important things
in my folders there and a hacker has access but I cant ......it seems to be crazy and bloody frustrating as I am no techno guru
