Outlook disconnects regularly and I get the following error message

The server for account "Yahoo" returned the error "[SERVERBUG] AUTHENTICATE Unable to open mailbox; please try again later." Your username/password or security settings may be incorrect. Would you like to try re-entering your password?

When I re-enter my password, I always tick the box to "remember the password in the keychain".

Then Outlook connects but disconnects after a while. 

In general, the account is always disconnected after a long period of inactivity (say overnight).

Any tips?

Is my student email account considered a Windows Live account?????

I am able to access skydrive.  I am able to use Skydrive to save documents using cloud computing.  However, when trying to open them in Word or Excel I am unable to.  I can only edit in browser because to open in Word you have to put a email address and password.  It says that my email and password are incorrect and that I must have a hotmail or live account.  What I am doing wrong?

I need to change my outlook e-mail and password Please advise!

"The email address or password is incorrect" EVERY time I try to access my inbox

Issues with signing in; each time I click on the shortcut in Microsoft Messenger that takes me to my inbox, I have to manually sign in, despite the fact that the "Keep Me Signed In" box is checked.  After I manually sign in, if I close the window and attempt to access my inbox via the shortcut again, I have to sign in again.  It happens each time, and is very annoying when I need to check my e-mail multiple times a day.  The message on the sign-in page says either my e-mail address or password is incorrect, and to try again, when I know for a fact that both my e-mail and my password are correct.  I found someone with a similar issue, and it was suggested to set the browser not to delete history upon exit, but my browser is not set this way, thus this is not the problem.  Help would be HUGELY appreciated, as I've been putting up with this for months with no idea what to do.

I am seriously thinking of getting rid of my Hotmail account FOR GOOD.  I keep receiving junk mail I am talking about 20 to 30 per DAY.  I was advised to change my password which I have and this has made no difference.  Any suggestions

Multiple account authentication problems

Have an infuriating problem with Outlook for Mac 2011. I have 4 IMAP e-mail accounts set up through Outlook. 

All 4 are with the same domain - provided by Yahoo Small Business.

One of the accounts is fine with very few problems. The others ask for password authentication constantly - sometimes to the point that you can't perform another action before the next error box pops up. 

Yahoo Support thought it might be a security issue and to also log in via the webmail so that the IP is recognised - but this doesn't help. 

What is the problem? It looks like Apple Mail runs the same set up fine. I don't want to switch but will have to soon as this is actually preventing me from getting work done.

It is driving me crazy.
