Outlook 2011 hangs when writing or sending email through Gmail

Original Title: "Issues with outlook 2011."
I am working on a mac book pro and have installed outlook 2011. 14.2.2.  I am using a gmail account and am finding that the application continually hangs for about 30 seconds.  This will happen whilst writing emails, sending, switching into the application.  Any advice ??  Thank you

Email received from Hotmail about organising and filtering greymail, but it does not tell you how to download the application or software, how do I do it?

I also want to be able to sort out my non hotmail email accounts without combining them with hotmail.

Window 7 – WLM program freezes up with ppt attachment

I use Window 7 and don't have PPT application.

When I receive an email with ppt attachment, the program freezes up  and cannot do anything.

I get a musical 'ding ding' for every key I press.

How can I close this application without doing a shutdown.

Hotmail Calendar Server error, calendar won’t load.

I get the following message:

Windows Live Appearing Online Issue

Strange one for you guys to figure out.

Been having an issue with certain users not appearing online or not seeing invitations from other users (on anetwork of around 50 users, we all use Windows Live to communicate within the business). For this certain guy, if I am signed into the desktop application I do not appear online to him. However if I sign into both the desktop app and then messenger online through hotmail, I appear online to him.

Have tried repairing Windows Live for both myself and him but still no luck.

Any ideas?

Outlook 2011 Mac (Using Hosted Exchange) missing senders email / reply address

On some received emails the senders email / reply address is missing - which means there's no address to reply to. The sender is in my address book, but on the received email frame a '?' appears next to the senders name. Clicking to open the contact  view the email address doesn't link through to the contact/sender and only the senders name is displayed. The address is only missing on the Outlook 2011 desktop application - the senders email / reply address shows correctly when viewing the email in Outlook Web access. How can I resolve this - Cheers!

"you do not have write access to the outlook folder" office for mac/cannot access auto-update

I am running Office for Mac 2011 on Mac OS X Lion — all updates installed.

I have two problems and have already uninstalled and reinstalled Office with no success.

Problem 1: cannot access auto-update server. I have applied a successful workaround, which is to create a new user and run auto-update from there. I assume this will continue to work, but suggests something is still corrupted in my main user id.

Problem 2: I cannot use Outlook. Immediately on starting Outlook I get the message "You do not have write access to the Outlook application folder". The message goes on to suggest removing the identities folder from the application folder, and refers to a read me file. This advice is not sufficient for me, and I can find no readme file, other than one that has some general blurb about support and activation.

windows livemail lost conectivity to database – how to restore

During a 'cleanup' with a third party product (Speedy PC Pro) my Windows Livemail lost connectivity to its database. I have tried using the application's Restore function but to no avail. How can I re-establish thie connectivity as it is vital for my business?

application failed to start because its side by side configuration is incorrect,please see application event log for more detail,what does this mean?
