My orange/ee emails were downloading fine to Livemail in essentials 12, suddenly it has started skipping some and downloading others, there is no discernible pattern it will take some and leave some from the same sender with the same subject.

My Live account works fine

?????????????

Original Title: windows live mail

My outlook in mac runs on the imap livemail account, but the contacts on the outlook in mac are not uploaded to the virtual livemail account. My contacts are divided in outlook into contact groups and altogether I have over 4000 contacts. I do not want to import all my contacts into livemail, I just want to import one contact group - around 200 contacts. I want these contacts to be visible in livemail and accessible wherever I log into livemail.

I cannot seem to do this through livemail, I have tried through people > manage > import contacts > import from file , but livemail cannot read any of the files I have tried to upload.

I have tried sending the contacts as a vcf attachment, but I can only then download the vcf files onto my pc, and then open them as vcf files, I cannot seem to be able to take the vcf files and save them into my contacts list.

I have also tried to export a contact group as an oml file (to be able to transfer to a different pc and upload onto a pc and then upload onto livemail from a pc not a mac) but this doesn't work. I cannot do anything with the oml file after I have exported it, I cannot open it, I cannot move it or anything. I need to be able to take the oml and open it on a windows software pc.

So how can I take a contact group from outlook on mac and either open it as a contact group in my livemail account, or transfer it to a windows software pc outlook?

I'll be grateful for help.

I am using an Acer Aspire laptop with  Windows 7 Home Premium.  I have been using Windows Livemail Version 2012 (Build 16.4.3505.0912) for a couple of years now.  Lately I have been getting a message that an update for Windows Essentials is available.  When I installed the update Windows Livemail seemed to disapear from my computer.  I had to do a system restore to be able to get Windows Livemail back so I don't have to go on-line to get my e-mail.  What is wrong with the update that is offered?  I made sure that all of the features were selected to be installed.

When I first  start the computer, I have it set up to automatically start LiveMail  but the page that opens and is displayed is the Mail page. Is there a way to have the full Calendar as the start page? Having the events off to the side in the Mail page does not alert me to an event as well as having the full calendar would.

Hi,

I have been trying to find an answer to this for ages. I have even looked through all the options, googled, bing'd and you name it...

I regularly have to forward emails to the correct address for their question. Recently we have upgraded the PC which we do this on, however as we are running Exchange 2003 we have foudn that Outlook 2013 does not support 2003, so we are temporarily using LiveMail. The issue we have is that when an email is forwarded using LiveMail it does not forward the senders email address.

This is proving frustrating as the person the email is forwarded to then has to reply with their response, the original recipient then need to send that on to the original sender, and the original sender does not get the idea that their email went to the wrong address either...

IS THERE A WAY TO SET LIVEMAIL TO FORWARD THE ORIGINAL SENDERS ADDRESS WHEN FORWARDING AN EMAIL???????????

It needs to be automated, not a set of instructions, as it is someone else performing this function and they are not computer literate!

Thanks!
My Windows LiveMail has been have increasing problems receiving messages (it's like it's trying repeatedly to connect with my server and can take several hours before it downloads messages from it) but finally has stopped receiving all together. I can still send. I've been using Windows LiveMail via Windows 7 for about a year. I also don't know how to empty my deleted messages and junk mail folders. Grateful for any help on both matters -- and maybe they're related?

Thanks,
Moira
For some time I've had a LiveMail (under Vista) with an addressbook and Hotmail calendar.  Because the institution I used to belong to was about to close down my e-mail address, I've been running for a while with two e-mail addresses, the old institutional one, and a hotmail address.  The two addresses appeared as two accounts in the left hand margin of LiveMail.

When my old e-mail was closed down by my ex-institution, I deleted the LiveMail account that related to it in the left hand column, and began running with the new one.  For a day or two all was well, and I had my old addressbook and calendar as usual.  Then suddenly today it began asking me to sign in to Live Mail (which I hadn't previously had to do).  Since my Live Mail sign-in id had been the old institutional e-mail address, I changed over to my new hotmail address, with the same password.

I then tried to do some e-mailing and realised that it couldn't retreive any entries from my address book, and the calendar display on the right of Live Mail no longer displayed any of my appointments.

I've managed to reconnect to my address book (thank you, MS Community!), but can't see any way to reconnect to my calendar.

Any suggestions?
Printer works fine with every other program.  But about a week ago I could no longer print emails or attachments with LiveMail.  We have not changed any connections or added anything.  And as I read we are not the only ones with this problem, so it is not our computer it is a change in LiveMail.  Have their been any recent updates?

My hard disc recently crashed. I have downloaded livemail as my offline email onto my new PC but my contacts, which are still visible and 'there' in outlook.com are not showing on livemail. The only contacts I have seem to be from my old outlook express days some 6 years ago. What has happened?

PS As you may notice I'm not PC savvy so simple replies appreciated. Thanks

The only attachments that Livemail has blocked due to a security threat are the attachments I receive in e-mails from my kid's high school and rugby coach. I don't want to lower my security settings. What gives?
