I have been using live mail for some years now without problems, but the last few months I am experience a very annoying thing with the safe/unsafe senders lists. Mail from trusted senders (for example *** Email address is removed for privacy ***) which have been on the safe senders list for a long time, are now repeatedly seen as a possible threat. And every time I tell live mail the sender can be trusted and this sender's address appears in the safe senders list as it should, it dissappeares after restarting Live mail. Even when I manually add the address to the safe senders list via safety-options this annoying thing happens. It does not happen to all my safe senders though, maybe with 7 out of 10... Live mail just doen not seem to save some senders any more...

I can't find anything usefull about this on-line. Anyone's got a clue?

Hi,

Could you advise me where is my 'safe senders' list is and how to find it, please?  (I have never seen any button, icon or sign for that and am unaware of its contents or how to add and delete senders so as to block some senders.)

Thank you for any help.

My problem is the safe senders list is not accepting my safe domains and they are constantly going into the junk folder?  I run exchange through a hosted exchange server.  I have it set up on my desk top at the office, laptop, and home computer.  I do this as i travel constantly and like the access from anywhere without missing anything. Not sure if this could be the issue but its not working.  How do i get the server to accept my safe senders list?

I get junk mail from senders that I have put on the block list. I do a sweep but get same junk over and over from same senders.

Can I stop senders from sending junk after I have blocked them?

Is there a maximum number of safe senders allowed in the Safe Senders List? I have my hotmail/outlook account set to strict junk mail filtering and I am trying to add new domains to my list. I just added a domain to my list and the domain I just added sent me an email. Unfortunately, it was still sent to my Junk Folder. I looked again at my Safe Senders list and the domain wasn't there.

My guess is that there is a maximum number of safe senders I can add AND after that number is reached, it randomly removes a Safe Sender as one is added.

Any help with this would be appreciated.

large amounts of spam/trash/garbage/phishing come from these and other similar senders - i'd like to stop them pre-emptively

Original title: why can i not block certain senders to my account? *** Email address is removed for privacy *** or @outlook.com

How do I add a company email to the Safe Sendere List?

Note: The title of this post was edited to help other customers find this topic easily in their search results. The original title was "How do I add an email address to my save senders list? When I select Tools & Options I do not see the Preference tab which is my next selection?".

Every day I mark the same old addresses as Phishing Scam so why can they not be blocked for good?
The messages in the inbox are usually appear with the titles first and the senders' names underneath. But, now the senders' names are repeated 2 or 4 times. I can click on any of them to open the messages to read. If I want to delete them i must click 2 to 4 times! Why/ How can I correct the problem?
I have noticed that emails recieved in hotmail may have a number next to the senders address - and it appears that all the messages sent between yours and the senders email are now displayed below the new message. Is it possible to return to the situation where the only messages that are included in an email are the ones directly related to the particular current exchange of email without listing every email ever sent between a sender and reciever?
