I have MS Office for Mac 2011 (University) installed on my iMac with Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 (11G63) all seems to work ok except that I am unable to sync my iPhone and iPad calendar with Outlook. I seem to be missing a step which is not evident? Please could you help?

I am wondering about MS Exchange = Im not sure that this is, I dont understand DAV and what that is; do I need to set up a Hotmail account? It is not evident why I am unable to sync over WiFi?

many thanks

I exported the Oultook PST file from a Windows 7 Ultimate/Outlook 2010 PC and then imported it to Outlook for Mac 2011 ( Mac OS X Lion).  Some of the attachments have been transferred but the majority have been lost.

Is there some setting I should have made prior to exporting the file or prior to the import?

hi ,
I'm using Mac OS X Lion 10.7.4 (11e53). I have 2 issues.
1. I can't sync my contacts through icloud anymore like I used to do with windows 7.
2. messenger is not messenger anymore. if someone sends me a message when I'm offline, I don't get it.
Also, If I want to send someone an offline message, msn quits and gives me the following message:"THE SYSTEM IS UNAVAILABLE NOW SO YOU HAVE BEEN SIGNED OUT OF MICROSOFT MESSENGER"
Can you please help?
thank you
I am running Office for Mac 2011 on Mac OS X Lion — all updates installed.

I have two problems and have already uninstalled and reinstalled Office with no success.

Problem 1: cannot access auto-update server. I have applied a successful workaround, which is to create a new user and run auto-update from there. I assume this will continue to work, but suggests something is still corrupted in my main user id.

Problem 2: I cannot use Outlook. Immediately on starting Outlook I get the message "You do not have write access to the Outlook application folder". The message goes on to suggest removing the identities folder from the application folder, and refers to a read me file. This advice is not sufficient for me, and I can find no readme file, other than one that has some general blurb about support and activation.

Thanks for any help,

Roger
