I have 4 e-mail accounts of of which show under "Tools" and "Accounts.  However, only two show a green light.  The default and remaining account don't show a green light, which they used to.  Both the non-green lighted accounts still work but don't automatically come and receive mail from those accounts without first going to send/receive, clicking on those two accounts and then the mail comes right in.  I have called the server for those two accounts and they have done everything they can to ensure that the mail should be automatically come in.  All mail can be sent out without doing a "send/receive" command on all 4 accounts.  On the grey bar inside Outlook, the two non-green light accounts are not showing but the other two are listed.  Any help/advice?  thanks...Coach Don
For some reason in the last two weeks I have had to rebuild my identity 3 times. Which causes all my messaged and contacts to be lost. Is there a problem that needs repair or updated.
My GMAIL inbox is receiving hundreds of emails. Some I deleted several years ago! I delete them again and/or move to trash and they return. I am out of ideas.
Hi I would like to copy all of my outlook emails onto a disc or thumb drive. how do I do this?
[Outlook for Mac 2011] version sometimes crashes and asks for a rebuild of the database. Every time I rebuild it creates an additional database identity, therefore taking up more and more space on my hard drive. Is there any software/app/service out there that will allow me to merge my existing databases? Thanks.
I have several messages in my inbox that will not delete, I have even tried removing office 2011 and reinstalling it, the messages always reappear.

Hello.  I bought a Mac Air yesterday primarily for work proposes.  I installed Office 2011 and entered exchange data into Outlook and the Mac did a great job with auto discover and setting up my email and downloading it and my folders.

MY work is all PC.

My problem: When I modify my email on my MAC, say delete an item or move it to a folder, it does not update my outlook on my work PC (or work webmail). It is almost as if it is only modifying it locally (note: my folders are NOT under my computer).  The inbox on the MAC will update with new email and if I delete email on my work PC it will delete it on my MAC, but not the other way around.

Any ideas?  I have tried everything with the settings.  This is a make it or break it for me.  If I cannot get this to work the MAC is going back.

Thank You,

J

this is the message for the error, I have sent it several times to MSM, but no answer...

I have been getting and sending email from my home on 5 different devises, since yesterday I can only send and receive email on 2 of them. In fact I can't even access the web site to connect to my email account. I can access any other web site, but not that special one. I can access the site on the other 2. They are all connected to the internet on the same source. I cannot even access the web site on google. I get the 3176 error message that says it (firefox, internet explorer, or safari) cannot connect to the server. I have a PC laptop, Mac laptop. and an ipad 2. The ones that work are a PC laptop and a PC netbook. I am VERY limited om my computer skills, can anyone help me?
I'm not sure if this is caused by SP2 or not, but I'm concerned over disk usage by Outlook 2011.

My message attachments folder has swelled to 100gb!

I run exchange with a mailbox of 10gb.

I do keep archive PST's on my macbook but the total size of those is 100gb. Those are archived in a master PC (windows) and I copy them to my macbook for ease of access.

Can anyone explain why this is? I regularly archive my mail every 45 days, but this folder seems to have attachments from well before that.

Version is 14.2.2.
