I too have the same problem on both my machines with windows 7.

I does not occur with Windows XP.

I am desperate to fix this after more than a year as none of the proposed solutions on line make any difference and I have reinstalled clean as well as repaired the installations countless times. I have the latest framework updates also. I cannot delete my XP machine until I have a solution to this problem.

windows live bex error straight after install

I have installed windows essentials multiple time using both online and offline installer tried clean booting but am still having the issue. I have tried opening all the separate programs associated with this and they all have the same issue except sky drive

Skydrive 8.1 crashing

I have recently updated to Windows 8.1.  Since then I have been in the process of syncing a large number of files with Skydrive. This all worked well until yesterday. Skydrive now crashes a few minutes after boot with the following message:

Attachments Problem.

This has happened before and seems to be starting again. In IE10 Win 7 try to add attachments to a mail and the while page crashes - sign briefly pops up at the bottom saying something has caused IE to stop working and it has to close so it does and then reopens on an empty new mail message. This does not happen with Chrome when trying to do exactly the same.

I have repeated it several times mainly using word docx and doc - different files.

 

The continuing issues are becoming a real annoyance with IE10 and Outlook.com.  In over 10 years of Hotmail I do not remember ever having so many problems in such a short space of time.
