the messages are just stuck there.  Outlook goes nuts trying to resend them.  the stuck messages have a couple of faulty email addresses so that's why apparently this hideous thing developed.  The messages are indicated to be in the outbox by the number (2) but there's no way to make them visible or delete them.  I tried to change the filters or clear the filters but i'm not using filters, and none of that worked. i tried working offline, but the messages still won't appear or let me delete them.
I'm using a gmail account as the sender address, Outlook 2011 Version 14.1.4, on an iMac with Lion software.
Why is Outlook such a nightmare to use?

I have two group emails with faulty addresses stuck in my Outbox.  I can't access them or see them except the outblox shows (2) emails are stuck there and Outlook is going crazy trying to resent them every few minutes.  I tired to use the filters to make the troubled messages visible but nothing worked.  Should i just delete the email account that they're being sent from?  this is a nightmare.  i've tried working offline to make them visible but that doesn't make them show up easier.  I can still send other messages from that email account.  I don't want to delete all my messages in my google account to cure this.  How do i get OUtlook to work properly?
I keep getting a message in outlook saying: Character not allowed in mailbox name: '.'    It pops up every few minutes and i can't seem to resolve it, and it is getting really disruptive. It is linked to an IMAP email account i have with my old university set to download into outlook. Does anyone know how i can resolve this?
hi at all

I want to add a Microsoft Exchange 2010 account to a mates Mac device running Mail (Version 5.2 (1278)). He has no Office for Mac installed. I found a couple of forum posts where users complain about some problems (e.g. with rules, etc.)... - Is that right, that it should basically work?

Thank you!

best regards,

Hi,

Hoping you can help with a suggestion or workaround as I'm unable to share my non-primary calendar with co workers. I'm using Outlook 2011 Mac, and I want to share a secondary calendar (not the one that populates with my scheduled meetings) with people on my floor (all using Outlook 2011 Mac). I'm not allowed to set up a dummy email account to host this as a primary account, and although I'm able to right click and set up permissions for people (e.g. as "reviewer") they get a message saying they do not have permission. I am able to share my primary calendar with ease.

Please let me know!

Thanks

Stephen
I have just recovered the use of my Outlook for Mac after I reinstalled Lion OS.  I have 3 copies of PST files which show up as contacts.  I made several changes the other day, and when I pulled them up today, the changes weren't there.  How can I merge, or backup these PST files into one Database of contacts?

Thanks for all your help so far.

I am trying to sent 2 scanned pages with a short e-mail. The first time that I sent it, I got a message that it exceeded the 2080 KB (I forgot the exact number) limit by 2 KB. I erased one page and got the same exact message for one page as I got for two. I just tried it again with 2 pages and gotAn operation on the server timed out. The server may be down, overloaded, or there may be too much net trafficAn operation on the server timed out. "The server may be down, overloaded, or there may be too much net traffic".I get the latter message often and cannot figure out who is responsible. My server said that it was Microsoft. My questions are:
1. How can I increase the size of pages to be attached? I cannot conduct business with such tight limits!
2. Can I deactivate these dumb limits?
3. What I am I supposed to do about the "server may be overloaded" message? Have you noticed that it is easy for Microsoft to send such messages but they are not helpful since they do not link you to a solution.

Hi

Not sure where to go so I am hoping this forum can help.

I have a removable Hard Drive with a CARBON COPY of my MAC BOOK PRO running Snow Leopard. I no longer have the SNOW LEOPARD MAC BOOK PRO, Only the HARD DRIVE with CC.  I now have a new Mac Book Air with Lion and was planning to export the SNOW LEOPARD OUTLOOK 2011 emails to import into OUTLOOK 2011 on the LION MBA, but now realize I can not boot from the CC with SNOW LEOPARD using a LION MBA.

Can someone tell me how I can get the MAIL FOLDERS off the Snow Leopard HARD DRIVE and import into the LION MBA?

THanks

Art
