I just had to reload Windows 7 and all of my programs.

During this process I had to import my Windows Live Mail folders which I had prviously saved.  But they now show up under Imperted Folders and not in my default account folder. How can I move the old folder structure and  Emails stored there into my new Default Account Folder structure?

Thanks

Rudi

iam looking for message rules on windows live mail 2011 (o/s windows 7 home premium)

Following a cleanup using the M/S programes I lost the ability to reply to or send emails to people in my address book from my windows Live mail . I click on the contact and all that comes up in the address line of my message is the contacts name instead of their email address. If I go into my hotmail account via Google there is no problem. Please help me!

The SMTP server keeps giving me this error when trying to send e-mail from my college's Outlook.com account :

The message could not be sent because the server rejected the sender's email address. The sender's email address was XXXXXXXXXXXX@falconmail.daytonastate.edu'.

I looked up the proper settings directly from the outlook.com application and I have entered these manually in setting up the account in Live Mail

SMTP setting

except for the encryption method which I cannot find where to enter this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Just got a new computer, Windows 7.   No longer have Outlook Express for e-mail, so in setting up Windows Live Mail, I also got Windows Messenger.  So now it loads at Start-Up.  I have been unable to find any method to keep it from doing so.  It's just that every time I start the computer, I have to click it off because I will not use Instant Messenger.  Thanks for any help.
I receive e-mail which contain hyperlinks to many retailers and traders associated with my line of work and I am unable to access their websites by clicking on the links. A message appears, which begins, "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action..." It then instructs me to either install a program or create an association in the Default Programs control panel. My WLM was fine yesterday but today it's not. Help! Please?
Please Please help!  I used to be able to send photo's.  But lately I get the following 2 errors.  Once in a while one will go through and it sends out over 20 dat e-mails that no one can look at.  I know how to delete the e-mail and I have tried resending with no luck.  I am signed in to Hotmail.  I have deleted the windows live mail several times and reloaded with no luck. I have tried to repair the program also with no luck.  Can anyone please help me.  Many Thanks!!!!!

Delete the photo email, create a new one, and try to send it again.

Hi, I used to be able to search the contents of my emails as well as the subject line or sender. Due to a problem with my computer I had to do a "brain transplant" on my computer and had to re-download/reset up Windows Live Mail which is working fine and I have all of my old emails. However I notice I can no longer get search results for the contents of my emails as I once did. Any suggestions?

Each time attempt to access a link, receive the following dialogue box: "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action.  Please install a program, or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel."  Am using Windows Live Mail 2011, version 15.4.3555.0308.  Have taken step to repair Windows Live Essentials 2011, but this did not correct the problem.  Please advise!
