I tried to open Outlook and I got the message that "the database daemon has encountered a problem and has to close". Also Outlook rebuilt my identity but I still kept getting this same message when I tried to open it. I would really appreciate help with this problem.
We have a standardized HTML signature with graphics that we use in Outlook 2007, 2010 and 2011.  It is also used with Thunderbird by our Linux users.

In Outlook 2007 or 2010 the graphics in a signature on a new message or a reply are set to Content-Disposition: inline.

A new message from Outlook 2011 is ok with its signature graphics set to Content-Disposition: inline.

A reply from Outlook 2011 sets the signature graphics of the sender to Content-Disposition: inline but changes all previous images in the message thread to Content-Disposition: attachment.

When this behavior occurs it breaks all inline graphics, both signatures and quoted text. The only graphics this does not occur to are those in the reply body of the message thread.   If Outlook 2007 or 2010 for Windows exhibited similar behavior I wouldn't feel like Outlook 2011 had a problem, but it is not emulating its Win32 counterparts.

When I originally began testing this issue I was looking solely at the signature and graphics within, but after extensive testing this bug applies to all inline graphics in a message thread. This problem has to be affecting all Outlook 2011 users who have images in message threads.
I have never visited the advertisers sight before and do not know how they got access to my e-mail account.  It has happened twice now and I am concerned that other more offensive advertisers may do the same thing.  Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem?
I can sign in but cannot access email. I  tried  difference browsers and difference hotmail account of my family members, It has no problem except my hotmail account. Below is the message on my page.

Sorry, there seems to be a problem with Hotmail right now
What you can do:
Hi,

Facebook chat used to work find with Live Messenger. Then one day it stopped working..

I have deleted the connector and reinstalled it via MSN - this did not solve the problem. I deleted the app from Facebook, then from MSN.. then reinstalled it. This did not solve the problem.

The Facebook connector claims it has installed correctly - I get a new group on MSN messenger showing everyone on my Facebook - but everyone is showing offline all the time even when they are 100% on-line.

Anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this?

Thanks in advance,

David

Whenever i go to add an alias to my account it gives this message - "You've added the maximum number of email addresses right now (we have a limit to help keep your account information safe). Please try again later."

Earlier i had 8 other ids added to my live account. Post this message i reduced it to 5. However, this problem is not yet solving.

Also please note that recently with 8 other connected accounts I had created an alias and then removed it because of no further requirement. And now i am surprised why hotmail is having issues in creating another alias.
I had to reinstall my operating system. I'm using WinXP SP3. Naturally, I had to also reinstall Windows Live Essentials (ver2009). I had to set up my email accounts again but all my Contacts were still there. My problem is that all of my STORAGE FOLDERS are gone. Any idea if or how I can retrieve those?

Am trying to move contact records from Outlook for Windows 2010 to Office for Mac 2011. I have saved the records as a csv dos file and as a csv windows file. I have tried to import them to the Mac but whilst the process seems to work no contacts can be seen in the contacts folder under any of the categories including junk.

I have rebuilt the database and tried both the windows and dos csv's but no difference. The only thing that changes is the value for the number of items which is now showing 4341 items and increases each time I import!

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Chris

Right now I have my gmail account linked up with my iPhone mail and on Outlook 2011 for Mac.  When I read an email on Outlook initially, it will show as read on my iPhone within a couple minutes.  The problem is when I initially read an email on my iPhone, it takes a while for it to show as read in Outlook.  Does anyone know why this is or how to speed the process up?  Thanks

The last few weeks I have been experiencing non stop crashing in outlook.

It seems only to happen while I'm writing a new email, at a certain moment outlook want's to do something in the background (sync? save?) and then it starts crashing.

After restart:

If a go on writing it crashes immediately several times

However if a wait a minute all works fine for a certain time (have not measured yet)

If I don't write (only read or do nothing) outlook has no problem!
