I upgraded one of my computers to Windows 8.1 and had 95gb SkyDrive storage after purchasing some extra.  I purchased a new laptop recently with windows 8.1 and now I'm only showing 7gb SkyDrive storage on both my computers.  What's up?

I purchased 10gb storage for $20 but the storage was used in 1 month. I dont think 10gb could be used in 1 month. I think microsoft just charged me and not add the storage. Can someone let me know if anybody has this problem.

Hello there,

I purchased Office 365 Home premium(on 02-08-2013) by paying Annual subscription fee of Rs.4199/-. But the additional Skydrive storage of 20 GB is not added to my Skydrive account. I am using same Microsoft account to login to office as well as Skydrive.

Please help.

I was using a trial version of office 365 (US version) which gave me 20GB extra skydrive storage, I then upgraded to Office 365 university subscription (through amazon UK). This is all through the same microsoft account. The office is working fine, but for some reason I have lost the extra 20GB of storage, and now I only have 7GB and can no longer upload anything.

Spoke to tech support online for a while and they can't work out why this is happening, suggested I post on here to see if anyone has any ideas

Thanks for any help!!

Hi

I purchased 100gb or space, making a total of 107gb, but my system keeps saying I am out of space.  When I check "manage storage" it says I have 106gb of free space.  How can I fix this?  Also, how is the best way to upload folders of documents to skydrive?  I have tried and it seems to want items one document at a time?

Many thanks

I linked my SkyDrive with my student account as directed, but i did not get any extra storage free nor did I receive the code to do so. I chatted with a Microsoft representative, Maria A - Billing Support, on 10-30-13 at 10:30 pm and she told me that posting my issue here would give me a solution, as she was not ale to help me. Please, can someone provide me with the code for my free additional storage. Thanks.

I look forward to your reply.
Katie

I've had a skydrive account from the very beginning and I was promised 25GB for life, but yet I've only got 5GB.

What happened to that offer? How do I claim that storage back?

I am currently a skydrive user with a 25gb account FREE because I was a previous user. I am now using the skydrive apps and office 2010.

I am going to sign up for the Office 365 annual subscription and want to know what happens to my storage.

  1. Will I get ADDITIONAL storage as part of package?
  2. If I cancel my Office 365 account down the road will I lose my FREE 25gb I have now or will it stay?
  3. Should I create another microsoft account just to keep the free and paid separate?
Thanks in advance!

I use SkyDrive. My wife has her own account.  We want to use SkyDrive to securely store our pictures.  But if I purchase more storage on my account then I can't share my folders with her or it will max out her account.  Also, she won't be able to upload pictures from her camera and phone without logging in as me, which is hard to do, since she has her own account already linked to her devices.

Is there a way to "share" storage?  We need about 100 Gb of storage.  I don't want to have to pay for 200 Gb of storage and get that amount for both of us.  But I DO want the accounts linked as one.  Is there a way to do this somehow?

Hi,

I am trying to buy more storage from SkyDrive.com, but when I get to the billing page it only shows me the option to use a US credit card. I am not given the option to change the country. I am based in the UK.

I have spent 2 hours on chat and phone support from Microsoft trying to solve this problem but none of them could do it. I've logged in and out from 4 different browsers used private modes checked that all website settings were set to UK. Even the SkyDrive URL shows en-GB when I have logged in. I have used support from: https://commerce.microsoft.com/paymenthub/help and http://answerdesk.microsoft.com .

Before I give up, does anyone know of any other way to resolve this or if I can buy a code to add more storage to my SkyDrive account?

I think I have exhausted the support options because the people I have contacted could not resolve the problem.

Thanks,

Keith
