microsoft accounts sign in

I'm unable to log into my Microsoft account.   I signed up using a gmail.com address as my user name.   This was verified in a reply email from microsoft.   All worked well for a few day until I got a message to reset my password.  I tried to log into my MS account however the system states that my username/account does not exist.   I cannot therefore reset any user account details.  I have tried the MS reset pages but they do not work as my account 'does not exist'.   I have downloaded and run the accounts trouble shooter without result, 'I do not exist'.   Ist line MS support was unable to help.  Second line MS support abandoned me after promising to call back.  I've signed up for a second MS account using another e address to log into this system.   I now have no admin rights on my computer because my password is not recognized.   Can anyone help to get me out of this loop of 'non existance'?

My account details being used in phishing e-mails

16. May 2013 · Write a comment · Categories: Hotmail, Outlook.com · Tags: account details, address book details, Paypal, Phishing
For several months, I've been receiving phishing e-mails... from myself. My name, my Hotmail address. They're the usual PayPal login scams, etc. All are sent from a hosted site (most recent is hosteurope.de), with my e-mail address as the header ID.

I believe that a contact's account may have been hacked, and their address book details copied and stored.

I've had my computer scanned - several times - no malware. I've also changed my Hotmail password - several times. They keep coming.

Header information in the e-mails happily discloses the site(s) from which the e-mails are emanating, and that the Microsoft server recognises that they're not from my account (identity alignment result is fail).  Why are they still hitting my (and anyone's) Inbox - and how do I stop them?

I was sent a security questionnaire two days ago by MSN hotmail asking to update my account details which I did. Last night my friends said I was hacked because of an email was sent to them asking for money because of a dying cousin in Spain. Never been to Spain and don't have cousins there . I tried to get into my account and it says my password doesn't exist. I've had this account since 1998 and can't get back in even though I sent 3 mails to support asking for more info. How do I get a new password so I can recover my account? I created a new hotmail account so I could join this forum. Please help me recover my original account **Remove for privacy**. Please help.

Have received request from "Windows Live Hotmail" team asking me to send all account details including pasword, otherwise I will be cut off during maintenance caused by a virus ion hotmail.  I assume this is a con?  But do not have any way of checking!

I’ve been sent 5 e-mails, codes sent to mobile phone & a call from a worldwide internet service, they hung up as soon as I said OK…..am I being targeted for a scam? what’s going on?

I've received 5 e-mails (following a renewal notice) advising me that my account will be suspended if I don't verify account details & my account has exceeded it's sending & recieving limit......are these e-mails genuine?

followed with codes sent to my mobile instructing me to enter an ID code on the link to verify details & ensure my account will continue to be in service- link:

I did open a link, panicing about the possibility of the service being stopped, now I'm worried I'm being scamed......I've just received a phone call at home saying they were calling from the worldwide internet regarding an error message I received as soon as I replied OK they hung up.......what's going on?

Should I be worried? am I being targeted or hacked......what do I need to do to prevent it happening? or check it hasn't happened.

received this email and don’t know what to do with it.
