How can I get Outlook 2011 if I previously bought the Student Version
I recently synced my Exchange email with Outlook 2011 on my work computer and my name is not always correct in the From line of an email.  The Outlook I'm using has been synced with other email addresses from previous employees and I have deleted the old accounts, but the From line has the name of the person who previously used this computer.  For example, I will send an email and the From line will say "From: Previous Employee Name <my email address>" instead of my name.

I've deleted the old accounts from Outlook and I'm not sure what else to do to fix this error.

Hello,

I have just been through a multi-week support call on a very odd issue. I've got it solved and it took MS Support to help me to do it. In order to share what I've learned, I am posting here.

Issue: Delegate cannot accept/decline meeting invitations using Mac Outlook 2011.

Delegate can use other applications such as Outlook (Windows), OWA, or Mac Mail to perform delegation duties. Outlook 2011 invitation responses, however, get stuck in the Outbox. Outlook shows an -18500 error.

Consider this scenario:

1. Exchange Administrator grants User B Full Access to User A's Exchange Mailbox.

2. User A sets up User B as a delegate.

3. User B uses Exchange Web Services exclusive client to perform delegate duties.

According to a tech on the Office for Mac team, this situation has the potential to cause permissions conflicts that only affect EWS clients (of which Mac Outlook 2011 uses EWS exclusively). The tech I spoke with says he's "seen it twice."

Solution: Remove User B's Full Access permissions from User A's mailbox.

I just paid for an upgrade of Office 2011 so I could have Outlook.  Outlook now appears in the dock on my Mac but when I click on this it say I must purchase an upgrade.  What's going on?
Hello,

The Office 2011 folder icon is now the default folder icon on my Mac OS X 10.7 system.  How do I restore it to the custom Office folder icon?

Thank you!

-ric.
I bought office for mac so that I could request a read receipt for my sent emails but I cannot find out how to do it?  Any help would be great.
Basically how now how to have one contact mapped in Bing Maps but I do not know how to have for example two contacts mapped on Bing Maps.
Whenever I start Outlook on macbook it operates for about a minute the pops up a box say it needs to quit due to an error.
I would like to be able to personalize a holiday card in a small email blast by having the persons name and email address show in either the to or bcc field -is this possible?  I am using Outlook for MAC 2011.  I have tried to BCC a list and it shows to and from the sender.
Hi everybody,

As the title says I'm experiencing critical problems in restoring my emails and account after a time machine total restore. These are the steps of what happened:

I was experiencing serious problems with OS 10.8.2 after the major update (I really blame Apple for this... recent software updates are a disgrace one more than the other) so I really needed to do a full restore.
My Mac is always totally backed up with Time Machine on an external USB drive, so I felt confident and safe not to lose any of my data.
I performed a total OS reinstall from the Recovery Partition of my Mac. Doing this initialized my HD and reinstalled Mountain Lion from scratches.
At the first boot of the newly installed OS I've opted for a restore form a Time Machine Backup in the Migration Agent options.
When the system booted again after the restore the very first thin that was displayed was a red Outlook Error (coming probably from the sync agent) that was asking me to rebuild my Outlook Database. I accepted to perform the Rebuild and it begun.
The Rebuild proceeded till point 4 of 5 when it interrupts and display the message "Your database could not be rebuilt. [-18000]" and then exits.
After that i launched Outlook and it asked me again to rebuild the Database. The process started once again but it failed in the same way.
I've checked the content of the folder: /users/myuser/documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2011 Identities and thankfully all my messages and data are still there!! The only thing that is missing is the "database" file that office is unable to rebuild.
Is this a known problem?
There is a known procedure to solve that or any other workaround?
At this time my entire 10 years old database is unusable and this is really a critical problem for me so any kind of help would be much appreciated.

PS Sorry for the very long post but I'm Italian and I have some difficulties expressing myself in concise and short sentences.
Thanks in advance for any answer
