Anyone familiar enough with msn email who can help me add a group and then add contacts to the group? I have these contacts in an excel spreadsheet but not in my contact list. There has to be a way.

"Since launch" was a very useful saved search for me in Entourage. Is there a way to use it as a Smart Folder in Outlook 2011? I can't find it in any Date Sent by or Date Recieved function. Could a raw query do it?
Hello!

Does anyone know a convenient way to deactivate notifications/reminders for entries within shared calendars (only)?

I only found the option for default reminders which is inconvenient since people would have to manually set it for their own calendar events all the time.

Any advice appreciated.

Bye, jan

I received a message from a job earlier this year and waited but never heard from them again....so I deleted the message I originally received.  Now I have heard from the company and they don't remember sending me this message.  Is there any way to retrieve the message even if it was deleted several months ago so that I can send them back a copy of it?

thanks

Jason

I tried to pull up a group so I could delete an email address from it.  I found the group but could not find a way to open it to make changes.  What's the trick now?  Help!
Hi,

for months now I recognize that Outlook 2011 (14.2.3 in my case) is painfully slow in sending mails. My Mac does meet all criteria. I do not see any speed problems using Activesync or RPC. Just Outlook 2011 and EWS. Mail is not awfully fast but way faster than Outlook 2011 using the same accounts. The problem seems to be quite common and seems to be an Outlook 2011 issue rather than something else according to may posts here and in other forums.

This happens with small mails as well as with large ones. Larger Attachments are extremely problematic.

I had to rebuild my database several times and a few weeks ago even had to delete and recreate my account. The problem persisted. Any idea? How can/shall I debug this?

Kind regards,

Hi,

My mother has an e-mail address linked to Hotmail, which she no longer can access due to not remembering her password.

The alternate e-mail address is no longer valid, and the password can't be sent there - and she can't fill out the security form with enough information; she could provide her name, birth date and zip code which apparently wasn't enough. If there are other fields that must be filled out, you have to mark these and not list them all as optional. She doesn't use this account but for logging into her World of Warcraft account; she doesn't send or receive e-mails on it, or, if she does, she doesn't remember who sent them or why - and she doesn't have an Xbox or any credit card linked to this account - all in all, she's helpless in the process of renewing her password and regain access to her account; why can't she use the security questions she provided when she created the account initially any longer, since it was changed to Microsoft ID or whatever? That's plain ridiculous.

She doesn't use this account to receive or send e-mails, as I wrote she only uses it to log onto other services. Then she was forced to change her password upon turning her account into a Microsoft ID (or something like that according to her?) and now it doesn't work to log in with the password she provided. The current security form doesn't work for her and we need to be able to get access to her account again. Please answer as soon as possible.

Since I assume you will need the e-mail address in question, you will need to contact me privately by e-mailing me a response since I can't email this question anywhere (which is also stupid - I was forced to log in to ask my question, and if you have to ask a question on how to work something out by providing a password which you don't have, you can't even ask for help. Lucky she has me around to ask for her, since that setup is idiotic.) and I don't want to list it out in the open due to the enormous amount of real hackers around the world (when she tries to log into her account it says she's tried too many passwords too many times to be able to log in).

I apologize for any rudeness, but I'm just amazed at how incredibly lacking the service is and hope this can be sorted out somehow, rather sooner than later.
I need to send lots of invoices at once when choosing the invoices which is the quickest way of picking the invoices for sending via email

When is Hotmail going to fix the settings to my email account?

I noticed the problem last Thursday, when they changed the settings on me. It took me awhile to open an email. It went back to "normal" later on.

Now, I opened an email. I hit the "Reply" button. It won't let me send a Reply, nor does it tell me where to type in a Reply. Also, it was taking forever to load.

Is there a chance that you could return my email settings back to the way it was (as of last Wednesday, September 5). It was working fine early in the week, till you guys decided to come in and make a mess of things. Whatever happened to the simple idea of "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" ????????????????????

BTW, please do not tell me that it's my computer. Many people I know of are having problems with their Hotmail accounts (thanks in part to someone at Hotmail who made a royal mess of things)
