I developed this problem as well yesterday 5/8/14. My windows live still downloads my other email accounts, just not my .msn email. My phone and tablet still work, but my laptop that stays at home is the primary one I use. Also the .msn is the primary email account that I use to to start using one of the others and tell everyone to forget my .msn email and start using a different one will be a big pain. I  have tried to delete the account and reinstall it. Now I just get a message the says "windows live mail is trying to synchronize your account. check back in a few minutes to read your messages"

I have reset my password several times and I'm able to log in via msn.com or Microsoft.com; but I can't log in via windows live mail with my msn email and new password. Can anyone help me as I can't get support from Microsoft directly.  I have called so many numbers and chatted with so many support people; but they all say they can't help me and there seems to be no other alternative to getting support but through this forum. The only way I can get replies is to monitor this forum's website since I can't get my emails from windows live mail anymore. Unless I can log in via msn.com

I have tried several times to get Windows Live Mail to sync and download my MSN email account. Windows live adds the account ok but when it tries to sync I get the following error

Unable to send or receive messages for the Msn (dgray0757) account.

Server Error: 3204
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE20003

I can sign into msn ok with no problems, I also get my msn email on my iphone 4s with no issues. Only have this problem with Live mail. I am using Windows 7 Home Premium sp1

Unable to access emails on my msn.com a/c. Advised to open new outlook email a/c and connect old msn a/c (and other Gmail and centurylink a/c's...successfully accomplished these!) to new outlook a/c. New jargon is throwing me, Please help as I have been out-of-touch w/critical relations and business contacts for almost 7 days!
Hi everyone.

Recently my son had a problem with his Xbox. (Which is connected through my email) One of the solutions to his problem was to alter the primary alias of my email from @msn to @hotmail. Unfortunately, after this was altered, it was unable to change back. MSN which was the original primary alias is no longer able to revert back from Hotmail. Instead, I now have a Hotmail inbox, and my old MSN email is a sub-folder underneath it. This is really causing a huge problem with receiving important E-Mails. Please provide any help that you can!!!

Originally had msn email.  Was changed to outlook email.  When I attempted to log in yesterday, message came up that someone else was trying to access my account and I would have to verify by completing a questionnaire.  I completed to best of my ability and gave my husband's address for the "24 hr" promised response.  No response.  I need my email contacts.  Help me please.
Hello. This is my 2nd post regarding how to close a msn hacked email that I can not access.  Thank you for  your email reply however, both links you provided were not working: one returned to the main outlook email and the  other link lead to an error message page.  I also tried to reply to your email but received undeliverable messages. PLEASE help me close an MSN email account that was hacked and I no longer have access to.  Thank you!
Hey Microsoft

This older MSN account moved to the "Windows Live Hotmail" system back in July 28th, 2011 and recently to the newer outlook.com inbox format. However, looking at my past emails and all throughout my folders: I cannot find any previous, older emails before 7/28/11. I'm trying to find some older emails back when I used this MSN email a decade ago, so I'm hoping that there's a way I can easily retrieve all those old emails again. Being able so will really help me out right now.

Thanks!
