Calendar, contacts, and mail are syncing with my exchange server, but tasks are not displaying in Outlook 2011 on my mac. If I add a new task to outlook on my mac, it displays on my iPhone and Windows machine, but not in Outlook on my mac.  Ideas?
When creating/editing Tasks, it takes about five to ten minutes before the changes show up in the task window. Please help. This has just started happening today. Before, things were working fine.
Since updating Outlook 2011 for Mac to version 14.2.3 opening Task attachments from OWA is not working any longer. Some of our users use OWA to attach a PDF and an OWA Task. Since the update neither attachment is available in Outlook 2011. Remove the Task attachment and the PDF is fine. But if the Task attachment is there then the Task attachment does not display and the PDF attachment is grayed out. Users of Outlook for Mac 2011 version 14.1.4 and earlier have no problem with the attachments. I believe this problem started with the 14.2.2 update and I have reproduced it on Mac OSX 10.6.x, 10.7.x and 10.8.x. Any idea's? Thanks.
Hello,

I use Outlook 2011 (v14.2.3) and access an Exchange server. This works fine for almost all items except my tasks.
When I access the exchange via an outlook for windows with the same credentials, I can find my tasks there.

In the first step, I tought the Identity db was corrupted and I recreated it. But this did not work. After that I deleted all the Micosoft userdata and resynced
them from the exchange. But this did not change anything.

When I take a look on the hard disk, I can find the tasks:

/blabla/../Microsoft-Benutzerdaten/Office 2011 Identities/xxx/Data Records/Tasks/0T/0B/0M/1K

There are several files, when I click on one over the finder I can few the task in a outlook window. So the information seems to be available.

Now, I'm at the end and did not have any further ideas what to proof. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

thx.

In Outlook my Tasks are arranged by category. I would like to have the same sorting in My Day. At present the tasks are arranged alphabetically with the categories mixed up and I can't work out how to change this.
I've a problem that's been going on for almost 6 months now...

...when my Calender entries were syncing with iCal (now Calendar in OS X 10.8.x) my single entry could turn into 600 (and would and are increasing in Calender in ML). I want to simply delete all entries without having to go through the some-odd 80,000 events that are showing up. I also want to clear my Mac OS X Calender as well but I'll ask how to do that on a Mac forum.

Is there a single file in the Microsoft Users Data folder that I could delete? It's driving me crazy and I've had to turn off Office Notifications.

Thanks,

Clinton
Just recently installed Office 2011 for Mac and trying to apply a percentage complete to my Outlook tasks as I used to do on my 2007 version on PC.

Doesn't '% Complete' exist for Mac users?
HELP???!!!!

So far I've spent 4-5 days trying to get issues with importing resolved.  Inch by inch I've succeeded in getting Contacts, Email, Tasks and Notes into Outlook and getting rid of the duplicate entries.  Calendar items are a whole different issue - I now have two calendars:  the default "Calendar" created by Outlook and my "Imported Calendar" from Entourage.  I've read through several posts on how to get the Entourage Calendar into Outlook but NONE that I've seen have actually resolved the problem (at least not that I can find - and I could certainly be missing something).

How in the heck do I get the Entourage Calendar events into the default Outlook "Calendar" and then finally get rid of the "Entourage Calendar?"

I am NOT on an exchange server - this is all local.

Help?  Please?

Carl
The tasks on recently installed Outlook 2011 for Mac originally worked.  A few days ago when I opened Tasks none were visible.  All attempts to add new tasks failed.  I utilized the Outlook Help online.  Saw others had same issue.  Tried solutions seen there.  None worked.Date and Time format is correct.  The boxes in left pane are checked.

Also am surprised that I have not been able to synchronize Calendar and Contacts with Microsoft MSN.  Have done so with Outlook 2010 on Laptop.
I have two issues with Tasks:

  1. The Task List refreshes itself every minute or so and reverting to the first item in the list.
  2. Tasks marked as Complete can't be found using searches.
