Windows XP SP3 all upgrades/patches installed.

First tried to upgrade an old version, didn't work.

Saw an old thread that recommended making sure that old version is completely uninstalled and deleting the old folder from Program Files so I did that.

Tried installing the most recent offline version Live Essentials, still no joy.  Always the same, gets to 100% then rolls back the entire install. Always the same error message aborted: 0x80004004
I am using "live.com"... I am assuming that it is a derivative of hotmail...
if not and other rules apply, I still need the answer... please answer according to the needs and boundaries of "live.com"

Saw this answer in your forum reference my question...
"If you mean Groups for contacts, open your People pane and click the down arrow to the right of the word "All" that appears above your contacts.  Select the Group from the drop-down that appears.  This will show you which contacts are in that Group.  To remove someone from the group, check the box to the left of the contact, click the word Groups that will appear on the menu bar, and uncheck the group name.  Click Apply.  You can check more than one contacts at a time to remove them with a single operation."
HOWEVER...  after a thorough search, I do not find the word "All" appearing anywhere... let alone above my contacts.
Could you please provide a step by step procedure for someone to select the Group... open the Group to see what Contacts are in the Group?
Thank you.

The tasks on recently installed Outlook 2011 for Mac originally worked.  A few days ago when I opened Tasks none were visible.  All attempts to add new tasks failed.  I utilized the Outlook Help online.  Saw others had same issue.  Tried solutions seen there.  None worked.Date and Time format is correct.  The boxes in left pane are checked.

Also am surprised that I have not been able to synchronize Calendar and Contacts with Microsoft MSN.  Have done so with Outlook 2010 on Laptop.
