When I open messenger, there is no problem, but it shows there is a message in my inbox, when I open my inbox, it logs out messenger - I notice that at the top right corner of the messenger panel there 'appears' to be one mail but there is not!  How can I clear this error?
How do I install and earlier version of  Windows Live Messenger on my new Windows 7 laptop?  I cannot find the existing program uninstaller?  Control Panel in this version of Windows is less than helpful.

The existing version of Windows Live Messenger is too busy and full of ads.  I only want a simple version that is not so distracting and frustrating.

How do I change the font in my windows live mail without having to do it everytime I e-mail?    I  went to the control panel /fonts/ picked the font I wanted right clicked to install .   There was no install option there

Since a May upgrade, I am unable to receive any mail at my @mac.com accoun†.   Outlook set up seems to correctly point to this account but shows a yellow light in the selection panel.  It is the only account that is available in this panel.  The message in title above shows down in lower righ† corner when click on yellow alert sign.  beside the words Not connected to account.  Continue to receive this error code.
In Windows Live Messenger 2011, I have it set to start on system start-up.. but it doesn't.

I also have Windows Live Mail set to start up Messenger when I run it.. but Messenger also does not.

I have tried a repair install of both from the Programs applet in the Control Panel.  No improvement. Any suggestions as to why. and if possible, how I can fix them?
Whenever I try to Flag an email with the red Flag, Windows Live Mail will rearrange multiple emails and Flag them all at the same time.  There does not seem to be a pattern for this.  If I unflag the same email, all of the emails go back in place in their original spots.  Therefore, I am unable to use the Flag feature.  I do not have this problem with another PC using Live Mail.  I have not changed any configurations.  I tried to run the repair Windows Live in the Control Panel -> Uninstall/Change.  This did not help.
the advert panel on right of my screen when i view my emails is covering up some of the content ,quite apart from which i am not interested in ANY of the adverts.
I'm using Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac in a corporate environment.  To organize my email, I created folders to house my older sent and received messages.  These custom folders were available from the "On My Computer" section visible in the left panel. After my Mac PowerBook died, I was provided a new laptop.  The IT person migrated over all my email that was available on the server, but not the mail from the "On My Computer" folders.  I used Time Machine to backup my system but was unable to restore it to the new Mac (IT person said it could not be done due to upgrade in OS).  I'd like to be able to access the email that I had stored locally, but I don't know how to find it.

What would these files or folders be called by Outlook?  Anybody know how I might access this data?

Thanks

Hi Everyone,

When Windows messenger (Live) was having errors I deleted it the file before I removed it from control panel (uninstall).

Now the problem is when I open the control panel it Windows Live Essential does not exist and when i run the Windows Live Essential Installer

It says "Done you have the latest version". I've tried to find messenger in my search box however nothing shows up.

Ps I've already ran a registry cleaner but I still cant get it to install or find it in control panel to uninstall....

I am running Windows Vista 32 bit version

I was wondering does anyone know how I can install the latest version of Windows Live Essential so i can use messenger again?

Thanks in advance
