I am using windows live mail on a win7 box. I have multiple email accounts in this client. I have my hotmail.com account, my msn.com account, aol.com account and my gmail.com account along with my daughters live.com account. With all of the account except one, I can send, receive and delete emails. My msn.com account stopped updating two weeks ago.

I searched for solutions for days and tried them all. Nothing seemed to work. I finally removed live mail and re-installed it. Now I get emails on my msn.com account, but I cannot delete them. All of the other accounts work just fine, but this is my primary account. Does anyone have a solution for this? Outlook was also having the same problem getting email on this computer until I deleted live, now outlook is working again and I can delete but it is not my primary email reader. I use that for work email.

This is getting frustrating and all of the answers I see do not work.

I have 4 email accounts I use in Window Live Mail. When I hit send and receive 1 accounts works and the other 3 get the 0X800488EB error. The account that work is a live.com email address, the other 3 are gmail.com address. I have tried several of the fixes lised in other threads with no success.

I was reading an email in Windows Live Mail and somehow clicked and dragged and the text changed to a tinier view. Now I cannot figure out how to make the view go back to 100%. When writing my reply, it was also tiny...even though I had selected a 14 pt font size.

After receiving help on this website with deleting my old MSn account from Window Live Mail 2012, I entered my new Outlook account, but an attempt to

send a photo failed again and I received the an error message:  ID:  0X8DE2007

Also, when logging into Windows Live Mail, after entering my e-mail address, the screen asked for my server password;  I entered the password that

I use for my outlook account, but it apparently is not the one used by the server.  Where can I get the server password?!

Hello, I can't receive email and got an server error 0x80048849. Could someone please kindly help me? I got the following error message.

Server Error: 0x80048849

Server: http//mail.services.live.com/Data Sync_v2 0.0/Sync.asox'

Window Live Mail Error ID: 0x80048849

Windows Live 2009 is on my computer and I use it to read newsgroups with. Here is the error message I am getting:

Windows Live Mail cannot connect to the Internet, possibly because an antivirus or firewall program won't allow it. Make sure any antivirus or firewall programs on your computer allow Window Live Mail (wlmail.exe) to access the Internet.

Using the help feature, I might opt to get all over 170 updates, however, I am afraid that If I take the updates, I will end up with the new version of Windows live that no longer has the newsgroups.

Can you recommend a solution? Is there another newsgroup reader for example I could download somewhere? (Ideally for free, but quality is vital as these are classroom back ups).
I continue to get a pop up box indicating a TASK that they are sending two messages using my email address and the STATUS shows that they are executing. However, the screen is frozen and  indicates that there are no errors. When I close out of this screen and try to start Windows Live Mail, I get the same message.  How do I correct this problem so that I can download new messages and delete old ones?  Thanks for your help.
