Original Title: "Outlook is terrible"

I downloaded Outlook because of the MS hype about it. I experienced the following problems:
1.  I cannot see the "Options" in the blue bar on top without pointing my cursor at the bar and dragging across to have those options appear.

2. I can no longer open an email addressee's info to change or add an email address.  I downloaded Outlook as it was hyped as such a good product.  At this point I think it stinks (technical word).

3.  I called an 800 number that was supposed to be a support line for the home user.  I connected with someone in India who told me that to fix "My" problem I would have to pay him $69.95 (Oh! it is a one time charge..give me a break!)

Can anybody out there help me fix "MY" problem.  Somebody should have a looong chat with M. Gates.  This really stinks!

Outlook 2007 allowed me to click on contacts when forwarding to multiple addresses
Over the past week or so, there have been a couple of times when I have logged into Outlook 2011 for Mac first thing in the morning to find a new email has lost it's attachment.

The odd thing is, when I check the same message on my Blackberry, it shows that there is an attachment. However, I cannot open it or save it to my Blackberry memory card.

If the email has also been sent to a colleague using Outlook for Windows, they received the attachment okay.

Any email that arrives after logging in, with attachments, arrive okay.

Any thoughts?
I've used my 2 hotmail addresses for over 10 years. I am happy with what it does and how it works, and also have them both as mails to a lot of forums i subscribe to. Is it compulsary to change to outlook?  If it is, then i will just close all my accounts with microsoft e mail and go elsewhere.
Hi Everybody,
I noticed that my sent folder does not update when i send an email from my webmail, and found that it is because i use POP3 settings. Can somebody please tell me how to change my settings on outlook from POP3 to IMAP.

Thanks & regards,

Are there any methods that will allow a Mac Outlook 2011 user to forward or assign an Outlook Task to another Outlook user, with recipient on either Mac or Windows version of Outlook (ideally either, as we have a mixed-platform office)?  Even if not feasible from within Outlook 2011 Mac, using a third-party utility or app would be fine, including on iOS -- any suggestions would be appreciated.

If this isn't currently possible, this is probably #1 on my wish list for Outlook Mac upgrade feature request.

My account has changed to outlook with a blue interface rather than orange, when i enter my account i cannot see my emails listed, I can see my folders on the left but the middle where all recent emails should be displayed is all blank but if i scroll down i can then see them but then cannot click to open my emails also the feature to switch back to hotmail is not available, please help? I did not upgrade my account and if it was going to happen automatically then it should work without any issues? Please help.

When I create a new email to send, the option for spell check is missing. Noticed it after I "upgraded to Outlook" . Of interest is when I upgraded to Outlook all my screens looked the same but all my contacts were lost. Some how managed to recover the contacts but is was blind luck.

Notice right after there was not spell check option but had it before. Not sure the upgrade installed due to all my screens and options look the same except for the spell check.  Also keep getting prompts or ads to upgrade.

RE: NEW HOTMAIL/OUTLOOK --

when in an individual email, the reading box is formatted entirely too small.  how can i increase the size of the viewing/reading box?

also, if i increase the font, i lose a lot of viewing data.  any suggestions?
